I went to Chitra Theatre Dadar to watch Jawan. The whole theatre was whistling and enjoying multiple entries of SRK. The screams weren't too loud that you cannot hear the dialogues but it was just perfect. Best experience I have had. Also I had A1 samosas and Monster energy alongside as I was sleepy before movie started. Best best best!
Varun telling Rohit Sharma story on Grade Cricketer is the most Varun thing Varun can do. Would be fun if Aussie cricketers who saw the episode, use Varuns story as banter with Rohit during upcoming games.

Srk always had the biggest multiplex crowd and if srk does mass movies then both multiplex and single screens erupts thats why the records tumble. And no words can define his overseas box office.
my parents went to watch jawaan and hearing my mom explain the story to me over the phone is fucking hilarious like all i heard was 6 different stories and a darth vader "i am your father" moment 🤣

I'm surprised Kautuk didn't like the music in Jawan. People in Hyd and Chennai specifically choose to Dolby 4dx theatres to watch movies with Anirudh's music. Easily the best in India when it comes to powerful thumping BGMs

Just FYI... names like Intelligent Khiladi etc etc are the names given by whoever is incharge of the Hindi dubbing project. Its not the original name of the South movie when it was made. This was mostly done on Set Max and Zee Cinema as most of us grew up watching. Initially for me it was totally CRINGE. The lack of creativity to re-name a dubbed movie even 😂😂but as the years went by and I grew older it kinda became like memes here down South. 😂😂 Anyways, loved the honest JAWAN review guys...keep the episodes coming.

20:40 I think the metro sequence was shoot in Pune, Station near DY Patil Engineering College, PCMC. That metro station was just finished its construction n i remember a buzz going around the town that shahruk aaya hai for shoot in new metro station. I thought it was for maha-metro ad or something bcoz it was the first metro station to b completed of phase 1 metro of pcmc.

If you want to enjoy the real "cinema experience", go to any single screen in Southern India. You will witness the madness. They cheer. They hoot. They dance. They even tear up newspapers and throw in air like confetti 🎉. I miss it!
i completely agree with Thakur on the music part. I didn't like the songs one bit, except Zinda Banda (which I liked only thodu sa because of the dance and SRK's energy). But after watching the movie I was whistling the bgm score of the movie, while trying to say "Ready" in SRK's voice!
I even travelled in the Ghatkopar-Versova metro while listening to the bgm score, hoping that someone actually hijacks this train 🤣🤣

After the jawaan review podcast, my suggestion is to do an actual jawaan podcast. The real men n women in our Indian force. An individual talk on them, such podcasts are not their on RUclips. Few of them trend on RUclips daily more that Bollywood actors. Like Major gaurav chaudhary, squadron leader Avani chaturvedi,late karthik thakur etc

Apart from mixture of so many SRK and other movies, Jawan was mostly Money Heist, or as Varun would say Casa dila Paplet. The film had a criminal gang, looting the system, getting public support for their looting, the Professor marrying the female cop who is actually hunting him. The female cop already has a daughter, just like Raquel (Lisbon). She eventually joins the gang, just like Lisbon. Priyamani dies like Nairobi. So many similarities.
Kautuk clearly doesn't like SRK as much as the others 😂, he didn't like Pathaan and didn't like Jawan either

I know correcting fodcast fax is like screaming into the void, but Vijay had a triple role in Mersal. Good movie though, overall. Multiple roles and social messages are a well known Atlee trope btw.

It was confusing because of the timeline switch which kept happening. So people not like avid movie buffs and used to the linear story telling techniques, had difficulty understanding it. The movie was Gr8 ❤ SRK SIMP

saw Jawan in a single screen and in a multiplex. It was way better experience in the single screen. The audience was silent in multiplex but the audience was hooting, cheering, clapping, whistling in the single screen at every action scene and dialogue further enhanced the movie experience.
