Love the podcasts, this one is low on facts. This submersible was EXPERIMENTAL hence no regulations or lack of regulations to follow. There was a window in the titan to look at the ocean, not a screen. And the submersible did have 20+ dives and some successful missions with ticketed people on board.

Bhai, water pressure cannever compare to aur pressure. At that depth, it's like a metal compressor. 797,000 psi literally kachumbar bana dega insaan ka. No submersible should be used at that depth more than 2-3 dives. 4th pe kaand hoyega hi.
