I wish this was the same scale as Legion just so we could get some cross compatability.

the official out of the box terrain should work fine for Legion. Other more detailed stuff will probably look weird without adjusting the scale tho.

Where did you find the "ramps are at the elevation of their highest point" ruling? A citation would help us sort things out in our group

      shatterpointquickguide.com/#elevation
I suppose as long as your move onto the ramp doesn't put you at a higher elevation than you started, you could get a little bit up the ramp

Vertical means just always have LOS, nothing but a 2D rule set.

I love shatterpoint but hat's the most hindering aspect of the game for me.. the terrain and the rules surrounding it, line of sight, cover, the holes on the bridges to allow for visibility, high ground and all that, it prevents you from making or getting custom terrain unless you adapt some rules, which of course, if you go to tournaments, isn't possible. And the look of the terrain itself, it's too much like tatooine, and in the clone wars show (which is what we have so far except from the vader duel pack and inquisitors) we don't see it much and unless you make or buy some more tatooine, or naboo, mustafar like someone has already made on youtube, coruscant and maybe mandalore inspired terrains it kinda looks out of place because it looks too much like tatooine or too industrial maybe(?) for other planets such as geonosis which would be the best option for the clone wars, or kashyyk would be cool, hoth and endor for the later galactic civil war minis..i don't know, i like how it looks, love the fact that the core set has enough terrain for a full game but the look itself and the rules behind it is hindering alongside the fact that playing the game on a 3x3 and the terrain, it doesn't leave you with much space to put other scatter terrain to use as cover, high ground or just make the board more appealing without making things way too crowded🤔idk maybe it's just me and later on i'll find a way to incorporate it to cool boards or make custom terrains thar work without changing rules, i'll have to figure it out

Don't get the point on ramps. You can easily just agree with your opponent that the ramp allows for normal movement as if you were moving to lower elevation.
