I think Snapes character development was the best I've ever seen/read. He went from being a loathsome, foul, spiteful man that was marked with the mark of the Death Eater (equivalent of tattoos a Swastika on your forehead), to making the ultimate sacrifice of his own life. Once I realized why he did the things he did, it made so much sense and he was almost a saint by the end of the series.

From Philosopher's Stone through to Deathly Hallows, Snape doesn't undergo character development - rather, his character stays the same and we discover new things about him that cast him in a different light. That's what makes Snape's reveal so effective - he himself didn't change, but suddenly the reader's perception of him did.
+Ryan Ferrier I agree. But one shouldn't forget that Snape made Harry's live a living hell. He was his teacher and he verbally abused him. He also hit him. And Harry, who came from an abusing family found himself in another abusive environment. He loathed Harry solely because of his father's resemblance. If Harry was a girl and looked like his mother Snape would have adored him/her. There might have been a Littlefinger/Sansa/Lady Stark relationship. Nevertheless, one should not forget of Snape's abuse.

I may not technically be the "Harry Potter generation", but I think Harry Potter was and is important to people of all ages. I read Harry Potter long before I could get my sons to read it. The movies convinced them. I have gone with them to the movies wearing my special Professor McGonagall hat and clothing, even when my sons were grown and I was in my 50's. I have read the Harry Potter books several times. Each time a new one was due to come out, I would start from the beginning again to refresh my memory and be ready for it. After the last one came out, I still have re-read the series 2 or 3 times, and am getting the urge to read it again. Each time is like visiting old friends, and each time I find something I didn't pick up on previously. Videos like this are truly enjoyable for me, even at 59. Thank you.
I truly believe they'll be back one day. All of them. Might take a while (possibly 30-50 yrs) but it has the potential of happening. Whether it's for two/three films or one big finale.

I've always loved Harry Potter: My step- cousin and I always bonded over it. Now her mother (my aunt) has cancer. My friends have also always survived our hard time with Harry. When one of my best friends wanted to commit suicide, we just talked about Harry Potter and it would make her feel better. We cried over Fred's death together, and pretended we were witches through the hard times. Thank you Harry, for making me have the time of my life.

I miss Harry Potter a lot. It was a big part of my childhood. It's still to this day a little hard knowing they'll never be a new book or movie coming out. I had so much fun reading the books and watching the movies. I reread the books and rewatch the movies several times a year. In future generations Harry Potter will be a classic. We certainly had the time of our lives with Harry Potter. I was 9 when the first book came out. Now I'm a 27. I still read through the series a couple times a year. Thank you JK Rowling for creating such a awesome adventure. Hogwarts is home!!!!!!!!!
I swear i've watched the movies and read the books way too many times that I literally memorise everything they say. It'll be nice for someone to obliviate me so that I can forget the story and read the books and watch the movies again
I may not technically be the "Harry Potter generation", but I think Harry Potter was and is important to people of all ages. I read Harry Potter long before I could get my sons to read it. The movies convinced them. I have gone with them to the movies wearing my special Professor McGonagall hat and clothing, even when my sons were grown and I was in my 50's. I have read the Harry Potter books several times. Each time a new one was due to come out, I would start from the beginning again to refresh my memory and be ready for it. After the last one came out, I still have re-read the series 2 or 3 times, and am getting the urge to read it again. Each time is like visiting old friends, and each time I find something I didn't pick up on previously. Videos like this are truly enjoyable for me, even at 59. Thank you.

I've always loved Harry Potter: My step- cousin and I always bonded over it. Now her mother (my aunt) has cancer. My friends have also always survived our hard time with Harry. When one of my best friends wanted to commit suicide, we just talked about Harry Potter and it would make her feel better. We cried over Fred's death together, and pretended we were witches through the hard times. Thank you Harry, for making me have the time of my life.

I miss Harry Potter a lot. It was a big part of my childhood. It's still to this day a little hard knowing they'll never be a new book or movie coming out. I had so much fun reading the books and watching the movies. I reread the books and rewatch the movies several times a year. In future generations Harry Potter will be a classic. I wouldn't be surprised if the first movie gets remade in 30 to 40 years. Daniel Radcliffe could play Dumbledore! That would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
