Today we will talk about a period in the history of Bulgaria, which remains in the past, but many people remember it. ✅ It causes polar opinions and people are divided on this topic. Therefore, in today's episode of 50 facts I try to collect everything good, but also everything bad about communism in Bulgaria.
We will start the first part with everything positive. 😀 We will talk about how people lived back then, what the country's economy was like, what the food was like and the way of life in general. 😮 How developed tourism was and a bunch of other topics. As always, I try to select interesting information from which you can learn something new in a fun way. 👨‍👩‍👧 Certainly the diversity, or to say it in a modern way - diversity was not great, but there were other things that we should remember.
Family values ​​and kindness were part of people's lives, but the state controlled and prohibited a bunch of other activities that limited some of our rights. 🎄 That's why the second part of the video will be about the weirder things and precisely these restrictions.
Perhaps the most turbulent development of Bulgaria in terms of economy, population, employment and exports happened precisely during the time of socialism. ✌🏽 Then our country reached 9 million people and everyone worked with one goal. Larger factories were built at this time and all regions had industry. Now, as we know it is a little different.
People's entertainment was limited, but at least it was much more accessible. 🤫 Vacations and going to a restaurant were something normal. Food was significantly cheaper and of better quality, but there were no home deliveries. 😀 Like everything in our world, there are pros and cons here too.
