The casting announcements continue: Chris Lowell will return as Stosh "Piz" Piznarski in the Veronica Mars movie, and he has a few thoughts he'd like to share about Kickstarter.

I freaking love Piz! I am so happy he is back! Chris Lowell makes me actually Laugh Out Loud. Straight up hilarious! I too, love the season 3 behind the scenes with Chris and Kristen. It inspired me to do the same thing with my friends, and in a word it was "awesome". I second the notion to include a part deux of this fantastic good time on the dvd. Heart you Piz!

Chris is one of the nicest, snarkiest, funniest guys ever. I had a chance to talk to him at ATX Festival about his new show Enlisted, and I mentioned Vmars to him. He said the script is fantastic and hilarious. Seriously, Piz may not be everyone's favorite, but Chris is freaking awesome.
I wasn't a fan of Piz, but Chris is so entertaining and fun. He's also grown into some great looks over the years. Woohoo, make good on all those promises, Chris! XD
He has a series on Fox this fall! But yes, it is good to have a job, Chris. And you are hilarious and poor Piz did not get a fair shot to be his own character because he was the new love interest/obstacle to Logan and so it will be awesome to see what Rob & Diane do with him. I adore Piz and Chris and this is great news.

When I heard Piz was going to be a new character on the show my first thoughts were: Stosh? Piz? What kind of names are these?! I'd seen Chris on Life As We Know It & remembered the character being pretty drippy. Needless to say, I was not enthused. But let's be real - I hated him instantly 'cause I suspected he was going to come in between my beloved Logan & Veronica. BUT then he appeared on the show... & he was funny & kinda charming and so it was I loved Piz anyway. So glad he's in the film!
I loved Piz and I loved him with Veronica but I knew they shouldn't have ended up together because she wasn't as into it as he was. LoVer all the way! And yay for Piz coming back!!!
I fell in love with Chris as Dell on Private Practice so seeing Piz in some capacity in the film will be pleasant, even if I don't remember his character being too interesting and obviously I ship LoVe. ;)

Piz will either be fantastic or suck in this movie--my bet is fantastic (though season 3 left it pretty clear Veronica won't end up with him). There's just so much potential to that character, because he's so diligent and hardworking, he could end up in a really important position in Neptune (he'd only be in the town for a job, he didn't go to high school with the others).
How did I go those full 3 seasons of VM without discovering what a lovely human being Chris Lowell is?!
