You have some great trails there. I don't know if I could go through them, but I'm sure I'd love to :) Superb landscape!👌
What did you tell me about the waterfalls? That you can't go wrong with them? That is right.😄

Wow those huge rocks look so fun to run on! You do such a nice job capturing the beauty and difficulty of the terrain Simon. Glad you didn't get seriously hurt from the falling rock. Tarak Ridge looked so beautiful! Kudos to you and your running friends for getting it done. Go Galan!

Thanks for visiting Sage! The rock did hurt it me for few mins but then nothing of lasting damage. Hopefully Galen does make it!

Those boulders looked hard at the start. Loved the Slaj falls and the amazing views from El Saco peak. Definitely a good idea to hire a guide for this one! Great to see Beef has recovered, judging by that downhill run. Hope Galen makes it. All the best to you all.

You always have such early starts. The only time I get up that early is to catch a flight somewhere! How much would a guide cost you? That's not something you can really do here, but I have known places where you "need" a guide to go with you.

A guide would cost around $30/day here. That's pretty steep for our standards. It's not required for this specific destination but it's becoming so in other places which is becoming preposterous especially for the easy and straightforward trails. As for early starts, I guess the tropics dictate how we move around as sun rises at 5:30-ish am and sets at around 6pm with temps playing in the 90s most of the time. Yikes!
