Freeman is the first coach since Holtz that understands the entire point of ND. I wanted him bad since the instant BK thankfully left, the players made it happen (which says everything), and he has exceeded my wildest expectations. He's the captain Picard of college football and I hope he does a Kobe and runs his whole career at ND.
I think freeman knows that notre dame is a special place and how vary blessed he is to even be a coach at Notre Dame freeman represents notre dame better then any other coach has after Lou holts I loved the years Brian Kelly coached here but he did not represent notre dame that well imho
He was thrown into an inferno when he was chosen to be the Head coach but the progress he has made in 3 short years is mind boggling. I'm 55 and I'd run thru walls to play for him and this team. And I hope he watches one of Pat Coogan videos.Go Irish..☘️☘️☘️☘️
When you coach, you are leading a grand meritocracy. The men you lead know nothing else, so you must strive to be as great a coach as they are players, or they won't follow you. You must also lead with integrity. I believe HCMF is already doing the right things to be an example...for anyone.
Winning the sugar bowl is Notre Dames first ever bcs win the best win period in the last 36 plus years I am so proud of our Irish there is no arrogance in me about what this team has accomplished but it humbles me because next week is no guarantee this one win opens doors for years to come for this program LETS GO IRISH play with pride and focus and the results will show…………….
Keep on going Coach Freeman and ND. This next one is personal (son with special needs) and overcoming great obstacles --- work ethic while everyone is doubtful. One step / boot at a stone. Stay the course / keep pressing forward.
Don't forget the travel back from New Orleans and the Orange Bowl's expectation for teams to arrive early in Miami. It is compressed prep, for sure. And keep in mind the exhaustion factor of this being the 15th game of the year. Fortunately, school is not in session.

Doesn’t the minority questions feel like they are hard to answer. Freeman replied with answers that superseded the limits those question put on those achievements. First overalls for Freeman and the Irish. Over All. Everyone. Together. Freeman has been my favorite coach overall in any game or league and I’ve been around a while. ❤ The goal for humanity is that we don’t ever have to think about any of our differences especially skin color. Special Teams and Defense. Also time control. I remember bout and complaining Bowden.take in 10 minutes to make a touchdown. Never gave us a chance back in the day. It was all speed with Texas and Florida Midwestern ball with Smash Mouth and ball time control boy times Have changed
Other than tge 1 loss and the Louisville game, our D has been amazing! Now to use our speed and get Riley to hit further down field and to realize that the quick screens are scouted out. I have faith in our team. #GoIrish ☘️
D didn't play bad vs Louisville. We gave them the ball on the 5 yard line twice. The only way they moved the ball was with a nasty 1 handed catch or a bullet pass by 3 defenders. There is no defense for a great play. Louisville made a ton of them, ND just made more.
Don’t get me wrong I love Brian Kelly but he did not represent notre dame that well freeman’s character exceeds that of Kelly by leaps and bounds and you can tell he is privileged and honored to coach at notre dame
