The direction of creation is the same and the bottom of ocean is getting near. Here all the sounds are softer, even weaker and hopeless. The lyrics got deeper with contradiction of life: "walking backwards ... to out run time". Also lyrics go to terms that would be better to avoid: "sign in blood". It doesn't mean wrong - this is blues, which has no limits how to express feelings.
