Have a couple of comments. First, don’t buy a plastic thermometer. You need a metal one to keep the needle from penetrating it. Lastly, my sister once left the deep freezer (Also full of meat) cracked open about an inch in July in Arkansas. We were gone over a long weekend. Couldn’t figure what had died in the garage & discovered the freezer. Simply closed the door & refroze. After everything was frozen solid, we snuck a few bags every other night to the dumpster about 3 or so blocks away. 😕
