It's because of roleplay and i agree it's dumb but people come there for roleplay
And the hole point of rp is to have fun because the fun type of rp is the rp that goes wrong

On a diffrent server, I was apart of 327th K company and made makeshift bombs and messed with the security, they chased me for a long time before a jedo got me
i have an idea for trollage, idk really about some servers but whenever i pick up a gun it automatically makes you equip that gun. so you could lure people into your base or shop or something with a "kos if gun equipped" sign and once they pick it p and equip it you just kill them because they have a gun out
some (if not most) people put the gun in their inventory, so it might not work
