What a nice and unusual variation of this song. It’s funny; I have a version of this that is done by two stand alone Gypsy guitars that I just love but as the instrument changes such as with this sax you begin to hear typical sax melody lines which aren’t being played by this musician. Those broken up type sax jazz lines mixed together with the very nice conga work. Tasty.

I've watched the concierto, there Paquito D'Riviera was explaining that since his childhood he was used to play it, it's a common melody there there in Cuba.

Keith Jarrett’a Poinciana reigns in my opinion. With due respect Ahmad and Paquito who are great!

Thank you Sir. It was a little different from Ahmad Jamal. I liked that percussion better.
