Volcano in Utah is STEAMING! | Silver Returns... [S7E3]

- In this episode I strike out on a solo adventure into the Utah and Nevada desert but not without some challenges right out of the gate. While doing my best to fight off a cold, I return to one of my favorite spots in hopes of some relaxing waters only to be rejected and left hunting for camp in the dark.
Thankfully things start to turn around as I switch to some boot-based travel and dig into a mysterious volcanic mound, rising from the desert floor. You never know what you might find out here and this first chapter of solo adventure did not disappoint! And speaking of no disappointment... Silver did a spectacular job towing the Voyager trailer and doing everything I asked to her to with typical reliability and stubborn performance. What a marvelous machine she's been!

Silver was my original reason for subscribing years ago. I had a 4Runner at the time as well. The incredible videos and adventures is why I watch now.
Thanks so much for riding along with us all these years 👍
great video, beautiful landscapes👌👍❤❤❤❤😍😍😍
❤another great video, absolutely stunning scenery
I see you run the Zoleo sure do love mine work great up here in British Columbia . great vid as always thanks for sharing
It's a great unit for the peace of mind it gives 👍
Got into overlanding last year. My pickup, a bed rack. And RTT.
Definitely thinking I want to go small trailer next time. And a 4Runner for when I replace my truck. But one thing I love this year in northern BC was my diesel heater and annex for the RTT. It may not be a large space but a chair and small table fit nicely. Love watching this channel and a few others. Always gives me ideas and hopefully be in Overland Expo PNW this June and really get hands and eyes on for the next build!
Interesting trip , great scenery .
Oh and it's just getting started! Thanks!
My inner adventureous spirit and passion ... got satisfied by this video on my couch. Hoping for opportunity to see the beauty in real time.
Your videography is awesome, your drone footage is spectacular I envy your ability to do this while traveling solo. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, will do!
That’s a great camping setup especially the cooking. I would definitely also have something that is safe to cook inside like maybe a single burner electric or induction so I could have a hot meal or heat water if it’s bad weather and freezing outside. I’m sure Lifestyle Overland already has a plan for this. As always great video
Coming up in some future episodes 👍
That is a wild landscape. Vastly different from the Southern Appalachians 💯🤙
That was a wonderful bachalor journey.
Great Video! Be careful around volcanic areas. The “warm air” could contain toxic sulfides.
How would one determine the toxicity?
@@LifestyleOverland you can actually buy monitors than you can carry for just this purpose. I forget the technical name for the device. But its kind of like the carbon Monoxide detectors some people use in their tents or campers with Buddy Heaters, etc. Sorry for the help, no help answer lol
Hi Kevin, Some great camera work in this video. The landscape is unreal. Can i ask you how you did the close ups of silver and the trailer when driving? Keep up the great work and all the best from down under.
Really too bad that the hot springs were taken up by some folks who are inconsiderate to others. Granted, they might be thinking who eles i sgonna come out there that time of year.
Great solo adveture tho as usual!
I waited 3 hours... still there. Drove by the next day... still there. Boxes and trash everywhere. So frustrating.
🌋
Hope you get better
Thanks, it never really got me. Just tired for a couple days 👍
You should go to the city of rocks in Idaho and camp
You wonder what it would be like when it was erupting? Did you see the video from Iceland this morning?
País : BRASIL 🇧🇷
Hello ❤
Hey Kev, what shoes are those that you are rocking
I came to the comments to try and figure it out as well. I ended up having to do a little searching and it looks like they're Danner Mountain 600s.
Delta area?
Have you ever thought of putting a camera inside the trailer while you are on a back road to see the amount of movement in there??? I built-out a 5x10 cargo trailer that I pull with my 4Runner. I do a lot of back-country exploring but too scared to video how everything is flying in the back...LOL
I’m guessing you would rather have the family with you, however, it sure looked peaceful for you out in the middle of Gods country. 👍
Maybe time for a haircut their Prince Valiant! 😂
And miss out on all these comments?!
True! 😂
That landscape is amazing!
Not having any mumbling and druelling in the background, or cameo, is so strange now 👶
🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰🧡🧡.very .very good voice
I would suggest putting on video, people, rigs, the mess, lack of respect so maybe someone who knows them may teach them respect!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10 mpg!!!!! sheer stupidity
Climbing mountains fully loaded is a different animal.
Love hearing Third Day "Your Words" in the background as you drove. Great song!
What does your trailer weigh? Towing our overlanding trailer with our 5th gen 4R cross country isn't terrible, needs more power and another gear. We are a family of 5 so there's a lot of extra weight in the rig. My biggest complaint is being under powered in the mountains. Really considering adding a super charger, the high cost has me weighing other options though.
What camera did you use for those shots where it rotated on some kind of mechanical gimbal?
Wow!! Such amazing scenery!! Live chat took a poo right after I said hello, gotta love technology lol
My video went to the "circle of death" BUT a quick reload of the page fixed that.
a few details about the locations or some rough coordinates would be helpful, supposed the spots are not top secret...😉
That info is available to supporters on Patreon at lso.link/support 👍
Everything to say has already been said by your subscribers. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Kevin thanks for sharing, great to see Silver again. How often do you rebuild your shocks?
Magma's still down there somewhere.
Love your videos! What kind of hitch do you use to tow your camper?
Nice video!
Thanks!
@@LifestyleOverland Welcome 👍🏽
You circumnagivated that area pretty well 😂
#nailedit 🌋🥾
Personally I think you should have gone to the hot springs and shared your cold with everyone. 😉
🤣🥶
Someone mind: "AAAAAAAhhhhhhhh!"
How and where do you people make your money?
Shady deals in dark alleys.
Somehow, I end up here every single day
