3DMark06 still looks absolutely exceptional. This was the era where I purchased my first PC and in 2005 and fell in love with computer hardware, performance, benchmarking over the course of the next few years. 6800 GT, Ultra, X1800 GTO w/ XL BIOS flash for 16 pipelines, X1900 XT, 7950 GT, 8800 GTS 320, 2x 8800GT in SLi, DOA 9800 GX2 then a 9800 GTX.

Nice throwback. I remember testing an ATI something, something XT model during this period. I was my first Dual Slot GPU. I was so proud!!

Haha wow I remember back in the day trying and failing to run the space hangar battle thing smoothly on my pc at the time. It used to run OK until the dudes with the chainguns opened fire.

I've a RTX 4090 too 😁🤗 but I don't test at *default* due to the CPU toooo high limited but for RTX 4090's users: 3DMark06 with 4k@8xAA-16xAF settings or 3DMark11 or later years is recommended for almost no any CPU limited on... *graphics* only tests (not any CPU test). 😉
