On Folonic's mother, it's debatable to call her a bad mom. She probably didn't return to Folonic because she knew she'd be pursued after successfully carrying out the assassination of Duke Vanya and consequently put Folonic in even more danger than she probably already was in. I'm unsure why she entrusted Folonic to Kal knowing she was an accomplice, but I figure it was likely because she wanted to continue after Sergei and also because she likely believed in Kal's ability to keep Folonic safe.
I would say she is a bad mom. Being a 'good Mom' would be giving up on revenge to care for, protect, and be there for her daughter while she grows up (perhaps by lying low with Kal's help), but Folonic's mother made the choice to prioritize revenge. I'm not saying she's evil and she did care about Folonic to some degree, but handing your child off to someone else while you pursue revenge is not 'good parenting'.
There is also death according to blaze Here : Some furniture from the Rhodes Island Workstation set will have captions on Blaze's deceased friends, which can be very heart-wrenching: Robotic Arm: A robotic arm installed inside the workshop. Whitesmith used to dance with it, her steps so fast even death could not catch her. In the end, she did finally slow down. Workbench: A simple workbench, with some experiment supplies strewn across it messily. Mechanist's workbench also doubles as his bed. He once said that sleep and death are one and the same. Weapon Storage Cabinet: A closet filled with weapons. The weapons are waiting for calibration, Logos is waiting for spare parts, and Whitesmith is waiting for raw materials. All the waiting is meaningless now. Workstation Wallpaper: The workstations wallpaper has a logo imprinted upon it. Everyone secretly vowed to dedicated their lives to their work, and some of them made good on that vow. The Logos one is confusing due to mudrock squad being taken in by an OP by the name Logos so either the same operator or different with the same name
@@fhillipus8360 Outcast's death was mentioned in the furniture set, which was made a little under 2 years before Episode 9. And they've certainly dropped hints about future content with random stuff, like IS collectibles (Outcast's revolver cylinder was in IS#1 too just to damn the hint.).
I will never forget Alina, probably the only NPC that I actually cared about that much. Like everyone else was cool and sad, but we only got to see glimpses of them. Alina on the other hand, we met her quite personally.
Aak's father is also dead if he counts. He used to be a very well respected physician at the Lungmen Central Hospital before he was framed for malpractice and his entire career more or less died on the spot. This would eventually result in him becoming a terrifying back alley doctor who even had the entirety of the Lungmen underground trembling at the thought of him. Eventually he would die in the crossfire of a large scale gangwar, one that could have claimed the life of Aak if not for a then young Hung saving his life and taking him in. His upbringing left Aak with a lot of heavy baggage, though, and in large part his father's expulsion from modern medicine left him hating the medical industry and classical doctors on the whole. However, its also clear that his time with Hung as his adoptive brother, and the whole of both Lee's Detective Agency and Rhodes Island, has put him on the right path to a brighter future than he would have had in the underground.
By trying to remember some things out of my head and skimming through the wiki, some deaths: -Some people that were in Chernobog during the Reunion crisis, died to either Reunion members or the catastrophe, various students from Chernobog that were sent to Peterheim Middle School and Istina's friend died of fall damage -Ilia, Crownslayer's father, and other scientists involved in the Sarcophagus' research, killed by Ursus Foruth Army -Duke Vanya, the one that ordered the killing of the Sarcophagus' researchers, killed by Kalt'sit -Sergei, Misha and Skullshaterer's father, the one that ratted the scientists to Ursus, killed by Crownslayer -Boris, mayor of Chernobog, died to a catastrophe after he fled Chernobog -Some people from the slums of Lungmen, killed by the Shadow Guards, probably, in the end of chapter 8 there's a dialogue between the Rat King and Wei Yenwu that the massacre might not have happened, but in chapter 5 it was mentioned a pile of corpses, and I don't think it's probable that the Rat King and the Shadow Guards were trying to prank lil Hui'Chieh there by making a hyperrealistic pile of corpses, so maybe it was just not that big of a massacre -Some LGD members, killed by Mephistos's possessed guys -All of Mephisto's possessed guys, eventually killed by RI/LGD and the Shadow Guards, and also some other Reunion members -The entire Yeti Dalia then killed him with an Arts outburst that sucked him dry -Many in Haydn Laboratories during Ifrit's outburst, killed by the explosion caused by Ifrit -Kirsten Wright's parents, both died in an airplane testflight Deaths that I don't think that count as character deaths, only mentioned in files or modules text: -Firewatch's whole clan, killed by the Ursus' Army -Aak's father, died in a gang war -Ptilopsis' friend, the one that installed the chip in Ptilo's brain, she also tried to do the same in herself and ended up dying -Greyy's parents, both very probably died, if they did, causes are unknown -Two of Hellagur's friends, the second may be alive, both died in battle against him, if either against him directly or his troops is unknown, the first gave his sword and a young girl, the second gave him the Azazel clinic -Greythroat's parents, maybe her mother is alive, her father died to an infected mob, her mother left her in RI and disappeared -La Pluma's parents, mother died to unknown reasons, father died in battle -Tequila's mother, died to unknown reason -Rosmontis' brother, killed in an experiment, got his consciousness extracted, so probably his brain or part of it, and put inside Rosmontis, so he kind of still lives on like that That's what I remembered and then checked on the wiki for some corrections, so there's some more other deaths that I forgot or simply don't know about
@@Ander-2 General rule of thumb is that, in any story, specially Arknights because Iris happened, if a character don't explicitly die on screen and they still have character potential to flesh out after their apparent death, they're alive, kind of what happened with Horn. So yeah, Mandragora is very probably alive, her relationship with "Leader" never got fleshed out, it's mostly shown that she just really trust her.
Let's remember everyone that IS deaths are not necessarily real. Everyone of them have 3 endings and I believe (my humble opinion) there is only one true ending in every IS mode. For me, those are: IS 1: Ending 2, Ceobe wakes up and connects with the story of Gavial The Great Chief Returns perfectly; IS 2: Ending 1, Phantom is rescued and brought to Rhodes Island; IS 3: To be verified when it comes to global, I don't like to hunt for spoilers.
But Jessleton was not only still alive but anni 11 reinforces that fact. "The convict Jesselton, having been transferred from Mansfield State Prison, has incited a prison riot, aided by the local Siracusan gangs who decided to join in. Rhodes Island must intervene immediately and put down the insurrection using the Imprisonment Devices." Mansfield Jessleton was an assassin pretending to be a guard.
Jetson is still alive, in his short story event, it was stated that he became a prisoner and still wait for his hirer to bail him out so as to decrease his sentence time, he went passive and didn't try to pull any stunts but shit gone wrong then he beat up other prisoners for provoking him til the guard had to put him down. All of this was just for a prank TV show with Jesstleton as main victim so yeah , he got clowned a lot in that story 🤣
There;s also Vanya, the duke who dies in Walk in the Dust to Kal poisoning him after having a nice long chat with him. Also Czarny from the the whole Nearl event (tho the death is in Near Light).
I really like the story of IS. It is enjoyable and keep tryhard player around also the dev could be careless about player reaction when kill a character when construct the story. I'm a fan of dark fantasy and this mode make me hype so badly.
A little mention of operators Huntingbow from Castle-3 operator record and Shaver who helped fix "Bad Guy" in Columbia. Rest in piece guys. P.S. There are also many hints that Elite Operator Whitesmith is dead, but that's not confirmed.
There's a trend here of Anime Gacha games making their stuff to be as tragic as possible. Azur Lane - All of humanity is dead, leaving no one but a commander and Ships manufactured from Nothing Arknights - All is not fine, constant storms that have cancerous rocks with no cure, plus you can't tell if someone you love dies or not. Honkai - The world is in chaos, Gods run rampant, ready to destroy humanity and the world GFL - In a constant war with Artificial Intelligence made weapons, Terminator Style Genshin - A god has a Dictatorship moment and made a battle royale with Gods and ended up with 7. And one of the characters literally was a lab rat for her childhood. Blue Archive - In some post apocalyptic world where I'm convinced not one man exists. Seriously, the only guys that you have seen are robots and Dogs, everyone else are gun wielding Females.

I can't wait for HG to kill Talulah off in the future episode and people will Mald so bad. Also Mizuki fits so much with Rimuru from Reincarnation as a Slime cause I saw one of the fan animations where one of the timelines he sacrificed himself to buy time and let his people escape which also brings us to Mizuki in his 3rd Ending. Not just that The Ending where Mizuki became the new God of the Abyss also happening in Rimuru as well but still not confirmed if he actually became in the LN
Mizukis death on ending 2 is he soloing the seaborn so doktah can come back to RI and warning the world about seaborn invasion. As the result his body is wounded heavily, the seaborn waiting for he dead completely so they can eat his body Luckily his dead take so long that the seaborn just leaving him. After that his dead body sinking to the sea and meet the Withered Branch( Seaborn God that alive but the body has physically dead, their body create the nutrition for young seaborn), that branch then protect the remain of Mizuki.
Mizuki die in is3 ending 2 while trying to swim back to shore carying the doctor. However he didnt actually die in is3 ending 3. He pretty much consume remain of the 1st born (the artifact that lead to this ending) and become a first born like isa mla. Afterward he order every seaborn to return to the sea and say no to we many
Since the only story is in suzuran's operator file, i'm not sure if it can be included but her mom possibly died when she tried to attack the ones who infected suzuran
btw we actually have info about how he died in ending 2 when Isharm-la ascended she tried to attack Rhodes and especially the Doctor, with the Last Knight defeated there were no other distractions, so mizuki made sure the doctor was safe and then jumped in the sea as a mean of distraction, mizuku was eaten alive by it's on kin as he sunk into the sea just to keep us safe also in the third ending he doesn't die, he becomes a god like Isharm-la/Sui, since Isharm-la was defeated he takes their place as the new seaborn god and commander of the horde, even then he still has his self intact and is fully aware that while this is a victory is just a temporary one
I can't remember their name but in ToW the person who lost their son and is basically the leader of the town for the events. He passed due to a mix of infection and smoking.

At this point, I just don't know what and who is real or canon in Arknights... *Dusk event BGM starts to play Seriously, how come a swimsuit alter which is treated as a joke fan service in other games, actually make more sense in Arknights than some other alters? Like: Chen alter -> Just Chen in holiday mode Gavial alter -> Gavial when she is off duty as a medic Meanwhile Skadi alter -> Skadi that's come from an alternate timeline where everyone died Kroos and Lava alter -> Also come from an alternate timeline where Beagle is apparently dead. Since when does Arknights have a time machine or cross universe summoning system? At what timeline and what time point are we in right now? The main story is a straight line. But some of the events just made me confused. Some are from the past, pre Chernobog. While some are from the future, after the Chernobog incident is concluded. This "When does this happen" question keep coming whenever a new event came out, and now I end up skipping every event stories and just read the main story.
Well, Rhodes Island landship is as expected was slow lumbering machine. I remember read that RI not yet arive to londonium at chapter 9. and its been 1 year+ since they move from Lungmen Summer event look like took place at the same time, Heart of Surging Flame and Dossoles is happening at similiar time only at diffrent places While Lava and Kroos advanture is something that will happen in future instead
Uh what? Kroos and Lava are just them growing up. It happens. And until there's some actual story put in place, pretty good chance Beagle alive. Not necessarily well, but alive.
Am I mistaken on Folinic's mother? [Spoilers for 'Walk in the Dust' story below!] On Folinic's (Louisa) mother, Lillia, the Ursus Guard didn't allow Lillia to enter and tend to Duke Vanya as the personal Doctor but had Kal'tsit enter as the servant only considering they seem to be intentionally have the Duke deteriorate on health when I read the context well enough. After the Duke's passing and Kal'tsit successfully leaving the room without being stopped by the guards, Lillia was seen tending to the Minister's friend and Kal'tsit returning and informs them that they have to leave now and even thanked her for helping. Am I missing some context and factors?

I think IS#1 also connects to the main story. Basically IS#1 is only our Perro Ceobe's dreaming/hallucinating an adventure (after she ate sus mushroom). With the ending 2 being Ceobe woke up and eventually return to the Rhodes Island team member (Gavial great chief event), and is the Canon ending. Ending 3, actually tells a lot about the perro race of arknights, especially after the reveal of setting like Emperor (Penguin), Sankta Race, High Priest (Macaw?), Nian and the siblings.

Yeah, I actually find it weird when I realize that, despite Arknights story is boasting it's tragic and sad story, in Chernoborg conflict, Reunion is the only side that gets the notable operators dead (Misha, FrostNova, Faust, Mephisto, Patriot etc), but Rhodes and LGD if I'm not mistaken, have no notable death. That make the story feel a little unrealistic, like those generic anime where most of MC's friend didn't die no matter how great the conflict. I think it would be a better story (but more sad) if we lost some people or someone in our side, like maybe Nearl, or Hoshiguma, or Doberman, or Adnachiel.

Doctor is made of multiple high dimensional entities.
So few doctor's death does not count 🤔
I will never forget Alina, probably the only NPC that I actually cared about that much.
Like everyone else was cool and sad, but we only got to see glimpses of them. Alina on the other hand, we met her quite personally.

Aak's father is also dead if he counts. He used to be a very well respected physician at the Lungmen Central Hospital before he was framed for malpractice and his entire career more or less died on the spot. This would eventually result in him becoming a terrifying back alley doctor who even had the entirety of the Lungmen underground trembling at the thought of him. Eventually he would die in the crossfire of a large scale gangwar, one that could have claimed the life of Aak if not for a then young Hung saving his life and taking him in. His upbringing left Aak with a lot of heavy baggage, though, and in large part his father's expulsion from modern medicine left him hating the medical industry and classical doctors on the whole. However, its also clear that his time with Hung as his adoptive brother, and the whole of both Lee's Detective Agency and Rhodes Island, has put him on the right path to a brighter future than he would have had in the underground.
By trying to remember some things out of my head and skimming through the wiki, some deaths:
-Some people that were in Chernobog during the Reunion crisis, died to either Reunion members or the catastrophe, various students from Chernobog that were sent to Peterheim Middle School and Istina's friend died of fall damage
-Ilia, Crownslayer's father, and other scientists involved in the Sarcophagus' research, killed by Ursus Foruth Army
-Duke Vanya, the one that ordered the killing of the Sarcophagus' researchers, killed by Kalt'sit
-Sergei, Misha and Skullshaterer's father, the one that ratted the scientists to Ursus, killed by Crownslayer
-Boris, mayor of Chernobog, died to a catastrophe after he fled Chernobog
-Some people from the slums of Lungmen, killed by the Shadow Guards, probably, in the end of chapter 8 there's a dialogue between the Rat King and Wei Yenwu that the massacre might not have happened, but in chapter 5 it was mentioned a pile of corpses, and I don't think it's probable that the Rat King and the Shadow Guards were trying to prank lil Hui'Chieh there by making a hyperrealistic pile of corpses, so maybe it was just not that big of a massacre
-Some LGD members, killed by Mephistos's possessed guys
-All of Mephisto's possessed guys, eventually killed by RI/LGD and the Shadow Guards, and also some other Reunion members
-The entire Yeti Squadron, killed in a last stand by the Shadow Guards after making sure that FrostNova was safe
-The sankta that saved and gave Vermeil her prosthetic, died of old age
-Members of the mercenary group Schwarz was in, killed by Schwarz
-Ceylon's mom, forgot how she died and I'm too lazy 💀, but she liked the sea I guess

-Some Babel guy that before dying impaled himself with his own flag so that it would still stand even after his death
-Theresa, died to a "decapitation operation" at the command of Theresis, the Doctor is somehow involved in this

-Grrovae'zzeal, Patriot's son, killed for treason
-Many Reunion members due to infighting after Patriot's death
-Edward Artorius, Talulah's father, executed by Wei Yenwu after he got falsely accused by Kaschey and the Emperor wanted either him or the newborn Talulah dead
-Ch'en and Talulah's mother, also Wei's sister, I don't remember her cause of death and I can't seem to find it
-Kaschey, yeah, not really, Talulah stabbed him and his current iteration died
-Ivan Iziaslav, old guy that alongside his wife took care of Talulah after she fled after killing Kaschey, sacrificed himself to protect the village and Talulah from guards searching for infected

@@Ander-2 General rule of thumb is that, in any story, specially Arknights because Iris happened, if a character don't explicitly die on screen and they still have character potential to flesh out after their apparent death, they're alive, kind of what happened with Horn.
So yeah, Mandragora is very probably alive, her relationship with "Leader" never got fleshed out, it's mostly shown that she just really trust her.

Let's remember everyone that IS deaths are not necessarily real. Everyone of them have 3 endings and I believe (my humble opinion) there is only one true ending in every IS mode. For me, those are:
IS 1: Ending 2, Ceobe wakes up and connects with the story of Gavial The Great Chief Returns perfectly;
IS 2: Ending 1, Phantom is rescued and brought to Rhodes Island;
IS 3: To be verified when it comes to global, I don't like to hunt for spoilers.
IS 3: Ending 1 seems to be the canon ending.

All of this was just for a prank TV show with Jesstleton as main victim so yeah , he got clowned a lot in that story 🤣

Blue Archive - In some post apocalyptic world where I'm convinced not one man exists. Seriously, the only guys that you have seen are robots and Dogs, everyone else are gun wielding Females.

Mizukis death on ending 2 is he soloing the seaborn so doktah can come back to RI and warning the world about seaborn invasion.
As the result his body is wounded heavily, the seaborn waiting for he dead completely so they can eat his body
Luckily his dead take so long that the seaborn just leaving him.
After that his dead body sinking to the sea and meet the Withered Branch( Seaborn God that alive but the body has physically dead, their body create the nutrition for young seaborn), that branch then protect the remain of Mizuki.

when Isharm-la ascended she tried to attack Rhodes and especially the Doctor, with the Last Knight defeated there were no other distractions, so mizuki made sure the doctor was safe and then jumped in the sea as a mean of distraction, mizuku was eaten alive by it's on kin as he sunk into the sea just to keep us safe
also in the third ending he doesn't die, he becomes a god like Isharm-la/Sui, since Isharm-la was defeated he takes their place as the new seaborn god and commander of the horde, even then he still has his self intact and is fully aware that while this is a victory is just a temporary one

Seriously, how come a swimsuit alter which is treated as a joke fan service in other games, actually make more sense in Arknights than some other alters? Like:
Chen alter -> Just Chen in holiday mode
Gavial alter -> Gavial when she is off duty as a medic
Meanwhile
Skadi alter -> Skadi that's come from an alternate timeline where everyone died
Kroos and Lava alter -> Also come from an alternate timeline where Beagle is apparently dead.
Since when does Arknights have a time machine or cross universe summoning system? At what timeline and what time point are we in right now? The main story is a straight line. But some of the events just made me confused. Some are from the past, pre Chernobog. While some are from the future, after the Chernobog incident is concluded. This "When does this happen" question keep coming whenever a new event came out, and now I end up skipping every event stories and just read the main story.

On Folinic's (Louisa) mother, Lillia, the Ursus Guard didn't allow Lillia to enter and tend to Duke Vanya as the personal Doctor but had Kal'tsit enter as the servant only considering they seem to be intentionally have the Duke deteriorate on health when I read the context well enough.
After the Duke's passing and Kal'tsit successfully leaving the room without being stopped by the guards, Lillia was seen tending to the Minister's friend and Kal'tsit returning and informs them that they have to leave now and even thanked her for helping.
Am I missing some context and factors?

I think IS#1 also connects to the main story.
Basically IS#1 is only our Perro Ceobe's dreaming/hallucinating an adventure (after she ate sus mushroom).
With the ending 2 being Ceobe woke up and eventually return to the Rhodes Island team member (Gavial great chief event), and is the Canon ending.
Ending 3, actually tells a lot about the perro race of arknights, especially after the reveal of setting like Emperor (Penguin), Sankta Race, High Priest (Macaw?), Nian and the siblings.

Saying its indeed future is wrong its just a scene that takes place in "some" future we are not sure yet
if you mean playable operator, yes we dont know yet, but for the operator who actually death in lore is exist. Ace and Outcast is one of them.

So i would love to see our operators dying in some way too not random npc ones but story relevant ones
Yeah, I actually find it weird when I realize that, despite Arknights story is boasting it's tragic and sad story, in Chernoborg conflict, Reunion is the only side that gets the notable operators dead (Misha, FrostNova, Faust, Mephisto, Patriot etc), but Rhodes and LGD if I'm not mistaken, have no notable death. That make the story feel a little unrealistic, like those generic anime where most of MC's friend didn't die no matter how great the conflict. I think it would be a better story (but more sad) if we lost some people or someone in our side, like maybe Nearl, or Hoshiguma, or Doberman, or Adnachiel.
