the last part missed out a major function for removing damaged cores. otherwise useful info although incomplete.
Use of third one out side tap is to hold stem valve and prevent from disappearing back in rim hole while changing Tyre (with tubes).
And use of fourth reverse threaded pointed tool is to remove broken (shoulders mostly)stem valve core.
Rip out the pin with with a plier and insert the pointed tool in broken stem core and spin it anti-clockwise. Broken stem will get out easily.
I believe the pointed end is LEFT hand thread to be used as an "EZ OUT" to remove broken valve cores. Otherwise great vid! Bet even some seasoned mechanics are unaware of all the functions of the 4 way valve tool!
Yep, this video disappointed me in getting that wrong. Often the little shoulders on the core will break off eventually, especially if you loosen the core often to deflate for offroading. With those shoulders broken off there is now nothing for the main part of this tool to grip onto. You will need to break the needle off and then use the ezout side to remove the core.

Simple clear video. Useful if you've bought the Halfords 4-way tool which comes with zero information. I even fixed the valve on my wheelbarrow

# 3 is also use when re-installing a valve stem back in a rim...so you don't mash the threads with a pliers. the # 2 is also really for cleaning the threads
you could use the outside tap to keep your valve from disappearing back down the hole when changing tire..I think..

Nice tool. But you find it easier to turn the valve stem rather than the tool!?!? Well that's fine and good but please tell me how you twist a valve stem located on an 11R24 Goodyear on a Peterbilt??? I must say that was a stupid comment
He had the valve stem out of the wheel and in his hand. He's obviously not twisting an installed valve stem. Most of us are smart enough to know that. And doesn't make his comment stupid at all.

very bad advice.... what if the valve is still on the vehicle? then you can't twist the valve can you? so it best to show people the right way to use the tool and if it's not on the vehicle then let them choose to use it however by twisting the tool or twisting the valve🤷🏾
