Steve, thanks bud for helping our beloved Dennis, I’m grateful to know he has local friends looking after him ❤ Miss Edie sounds like she is worth her weight in gold, truth is, you got that fungus there at the facility, the showers should be disinfected between each patient, because fungus an Ms viruses love warm, damp environments. Back in the 1900’s (gotta say nine teen hunnerds) I did a paper for college about the lack of study in viruses, fun fact some viruses like HSV-2 can live outside the body for far longer than first thought. Still there are medical professionals that believe these viruses die as soon as they are outside of the host, that is until numerous people developed the nasty, painful genital variety of HSV, and after several were reported to the state health department it was determined many of them were members at the same gym. Long story shortish yeah, the stationary bike tested positive etc. etc. So if I for example am hot and sweaty and I then hop on the stationary bike for 15 minutes, and my body, even though protected by two layers of clothing can absorb the virus thru my own sweat, it’s just nasty! So even if you watch the previous gym member wipe down the equipment, best practices would be you go ahead and wipe it again with the antibacterial, antiviral, anti microbial solution too!

It is a blood thinner as you said so please be careful and don’t have any kind of hard falls it’s easy to get an internal bleeding and is not reversible as some others by an injection of vitamin K!! Keep working on your strength recovery it’s going to take a little while to get back to where after that down time! Praying for you every day as well as Rene!! I'm so happy you're home! But, I'm pissed at that so called rehab center...you should have been doing PT of some kind the whole time you were there, to prepare you to be on your own!! I love Bayside! Yay for insurance!! I know it's a further distance than Corpus, but you should consider going to Victoria for your health care. The quality of care is so much better there. My cousin just went thru some medical stuff, including brain surgery...he lives in Beeville and I can't tell you how many medical horror stories out of Corpus my family members have endured over the years. Most ended up switching to Victoria for care with stellar results. You could schedule all your appts in one day, find a place to park for the night..( some beautiful parks there).
So great to have such a friend as Steve. One of my daughters had a lot of problems with her kneecap popping out of place. I got her a brace, not like Forrest Gump, but a sleeve type, and it seemed to help. She went to PT and was taught exercises. They told her if she built up muscles/strength in her legs it would stop happening. She didn't do what they said, so it kept happening for years, and each time it was very painful for her to get it popped back in. Not sure why but as she got older it seems to have stopped happening. Do you think one of those braces would help you? Great to see you out and about and making headway, good deal. Did you hear sign language talking to body language. Yeah, me neither.
