South Coast Plaza's Secret Hidden Garden. South Cost Plaza Partner and member of the founding family leads me to this hidden secret place! Along the way he shows me the amazing collection of Palms, (no they are not a tree but a member of the grass family!) . The collection was going to be destroyed and was purchased and saved by Anton's father Henry Segerstrom. He then lovingly moved and nurtured to it's current home. Some of the rare Palms roots are wrapped in cold weather. This is one in a series of CAL -Culture-Arts-Legacy segments.
