We have a 4 day old LG fridge and it makes ice but wont drop it into the tray. LG customer service says we need to completely defrost our fridge (wasting all the contents without reimbursement) as a first step to trouble shoot. Sound about right? Please advise since this isnt an acceptable solution for a brand new fridge

Hey there. To fix a stuck button on your appliance, first power it off by unplugging or flipping the circuit breaker. Next, gently clean around the button with a soft cloth or cotton swab. Then, lightly press the button with your finger or something soft like a pen cap. Power the appliance back on afterwards. If the issue persists, consider seeking professional repair. Avoid using a hair dryer for this, as it may do more harm than good. we're always here if you need more assistance. ^ Diego

Very Informative!! Great Video and now I'm convinced to buy LG
I have ice in my tray, but it is not dumping the ice into the bucket. I’ve also tried resetting the ice maker. Do I have a motor issue?

The indicator light on the crushed ice side does not light up. Is this because no ice is available? My fridge is brand new.

My model won’t dump the ice tray. Everything else works but it won’t turn the tray on its own to produce ice in tray anymore
