Awesome footage as usual, how is it you don't have more subs is beyond me. Keep up the great work love these places you share with all of us, we look forward to our maiden voyage with our Hiker trailer.
Absolutely beautiful footage. We are adding this to our Spring 2023 trip itinerary. Thank you for sharing. Keep enjoying life and stay safe out there! P.s., we are getting ready to order our Hiker Trailer. An upgrade from the bed of the truck lol
Happy New Year! Just watched your North Rim video and this one again! Still awesome! Looking forward to new content. Our Hiker is scheduled to be ready for pickup in a couple weeks. Can’t wait to head west again! Stay safe!
Thanks! We just had Hiker install the electronics as we already had a battery. We use a 100AH standard lead acid marine grade deep cell battery. We added an inexpensive Harbor Freight solar panel and it has worked perfect for our needs.
It is (was) really great for that! Just be careful in using in sand, we were unable to salvage it after this trip. The name of the chair on Walmarts website is "Ozark Trail Oversized Relax Plush Chair".
There is a lot to consider with this question. Are you frequently going full off road or just using forest roads that are a bit bumpy? We have found that our trailer (5x9 MRXL) is great for what we do, 90% reasonable forest roads and 10% more rough off-roading. The EOR suspension is far better, we have spent the last 3 weeks with FOB WALDEN (check out their channel). It is impressive how much better their suspension handles the terrain. That said, ours does it just fine, you just need to slow down a bit and air down the tires for a smoother ride.
@@desertpointadventures Thanks, Yes thats what I've been thinking. We are probably going to be similar to you 90/10. But we live on the east coast where off roads are more technical and tighter. I'm thinking if we get a little more technical leave the trailer at home and just stay in the roof top tent on top of my TRD off road Tundra. We plan on taking epic road trips out west to the more open locations like y'all do. I like the 5x10 idea for more room and(we have two large dogs) and the fact that its cheaper. Love your videos. Maybe we can meet up sometime for a camp. Probably heading somewhere this winter. Thanks
Once again, great pictures. Thank you.
Cool area!!

Hello. Awesome video. What is your battery setup in the Hiker?
