I love my home town! Living here is awesome - all the summer activities and all the winter ones too. No shortage of stuff to do! For those who complain about our city and it's issues - go to Vancouver and go down Hastings St, then tell me you wouldn't rather be here. Every city has its issues, and people are so hard on Thunder Bay. It's a great city!
thunder bay ruuuuuulzzes! i'm at lakehead university... if i knew he was at the hoito, i would have stood out there "in the dead of winter". ooohh... now i have to get to go there and then a coffee for the road from calicoe's....lol
I'm glad he visited the Hoito the last time he came through town. I hope his performance on June 9 at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium will be a good one.
I love this... Darlene flipping pancakes at the hoito.... and I agree... I drives me absolutely insane when a non Finn says sawna... it's sauna ( pronounced) sow-na... get it right already lol
@SniperViper1000 I mean every town and city in north western ontario is spaced apart by an hour or so. North Bay is about 10 hours or so from here. I forget because I haven't been there since 2001 and it's not even close to being in this area.
why ain't all Canadians eschewed theses they should be part of the the mandatory Canadian kit ROTFLMFAO and also ROTFLMFAO @ the last part them Finnish people looks like they be a laugh love to have a beer with them
@ApprenticeBushcraft ya no shit eh? lol I call them Nishnabe jk....But in reality my husband is Ojibwa and our son is half breed. The sad thing is that when the first immigrant discovered Canada...he thought he was in India which is why he called natives "Indians" they shouldve made the correction once they realized that they werent in India!!!! BTW part of my user name is what my husband's Ojibwa last name means :)
In northern Ontario distance is measure in hours not km. Everything is usually spaced out about an hours drive away.
Love watching all the grow men roll around in the snow like kids
This rocks my world, especially since I'm a Thunder Bayer born, raised, and still here! :) Keep comin back Rick - we love ya!
