The best tip for early starters would be how efficient water is, it's one of the lowest healing consumables but you can carry an infinite amount with no weight, 10 seconds for 200 HP it worked wonders until level 15
As long as you’re always fast travelling somewhere to complete a mission, you’ll never run out of Azoth. The mission rewards usually covers the fast travel cost, especially if it involves enemies
For real, I’ve been fast traveling a lot for missions, defending forts, and clearing corruption but after doing a couple quests I’m capped out again lol

You will need to bring them up for stuff like star metal and better wood. It is a pain to do but it will be worth it. Also if you see herbs, always grab them. It will help in cooking
But drop the hysop or whatever it's called. The weight adds up fast and it's used for alchemy not cooking. So unless you plan on doing the potion crafting or whatever just drop it. Probably not even worth selling tbh, if I can't make at least 25 gold or something a stack it's not worth my time to click the buttons to sell it.
this isnt the best piece of advice per say. it's totally applicable to harvesting and mining but absolutely not logging. Logging isnt necessary after 50, or before 50 for that matter, for quite awhile. it's best to wait till your high enough level that you have at least 2 good bags so you can dedicate time to farming lots of trees without having to stop because of weight
I honestly would have added 2 more things for people not to gloss over. 1. Put water in your last consumable slot, it doesn’t cost any weight/encumbrance :) Super helpful in crafting too. 2. Importance of holding runes for crafting new bags, from the faction vendor :) Pretty sweet, there were definitely a few things this cleared up for me!

It's to my understanding that the shield, when not in use, will still provide some level of protection. I read this somewhere back in BETA, but I see here when you take it off, there is no change to your PHYS/ELEM stats. Good to see!
sadly this is no longer the case. In fact, they messed the shield up. Its stats and perks no longer apply when not selected as a primary weapon. Now that alone seems reasonable, except if you have a two handed weapon as a secondary weapon its stats DO count when not selected. And since a two handed weapon has about as much stats as a sword+shield combo, this means anyone with a sword+shield combo as a secondary is nerfed.
There seems to be a mass misconception about the shield. Many believe you still receive the stat boosts from the shield like the damage, crit chance crit dmg resists, +stat attributes etc. regardless of weapons used. Has anyone actually tested to see if that is true? Do those stats only apply if you are using a sword?
Stats on a shield only apply if the shield is in an active hand. Weapon stats apply whether active or not. Unfortunately sword/shield stats are divided between the two items, which means you only get the sword stats while it is inactive and end up in that condition with fewer stats than someone using two full stat single weapons.
The most impactful tip I got from this video was the existence of the 'store all' button. Thanks for that, even if it wasn't one of your official tips. :)

I wonder why you shouldnt burn through the tokens. It literally takes about an hour or two to get 10 000 tokens, enough to buy 2 weapons and all the armor pieces. It's worth burning through the tokens on what ever you think is worth it, since you can always do the quests again immediately after delivering. Pick up the 3 pvp quests, run and do them. That's 1230 tokens like every 10-15 minutes, as long as you dont die. Yoy shouldnt be doing other quests while doing pvp quests anyways, so avoid any unecessary combat with opppsing factions. I always spend a couple of hours on every 10 levels, i.e., 14, 24, etc to buy the gear before i hit the level when I can use them. That way I can always have the best available gear when I get that level. And that gear carries me well and gives me sweet damage until I find something better :)
i burn the tokens but mainly because im a paladin and need to change the gear to cleric. in the beginning its really easy to get tokens. the last tiers is a pain ofc but thats endgame stuff anyways
Around minute 12 when you talk about special resources, those cannot be added to the tools, tools use like charms which are different from the special resources. Great video!
yep, but you can add them to armor parts and belt bags. so you can craft several full sets of bonus gear to maximize luck for each particular gathering skill.
@@kaynan3754 For sure. The 12:minute mark he talks about adding “luck” to skinning knife… the perk doesn’t add anything to base material you gather, just increases chance to get the bonus “rare resources” on whatever your gathering.

problem with store everything u have and if u go to another city u dont have the same storage, u have to go back and grab everything to craft something
No. Its stats only affect when its drawn and the only way to draw it is to use straight sword. However im pretty sure it raises your weight which can be bad if your trying to be lightly armored.
I've been getting mine from just doing the quests I find and I am always near capped on the currency, granted I sometimes choose to run instead because I want to take in the scenery and/or do some farming along the way.
Main quest is the easiest way, and you get the most from that. Killing enemies can drop 10 azoth randomly. You can get perks on your tools that give you azoth each time that you gather. At the moment azoth isn't sold for real money but idk how long that'll last.

Awesome Vid Dude!
Wait, why are you saying to unequip shield? My shield adds to my strength?
Bro, thanks so much for your effort into this guide. :D helped alot.
love the afk run in the background
with the last tip, you can apply up to 3 bonus affects onto a steel tool correct?
About the shields... you should keep it equipped to keep the bonus attribute points (strength, const, etc)
You dont get the attribute unless you have the sword and shield combo tho.
@@Tommiekawa11 This is true, you need them both equipped.
thank you sir it helped loads
problem with store everything u have and if u go to another city u dont have the same storage, u have to go back and grab everything to craft something
Once your Faction owns territory you can transfer storage between the owned territories for a small gold fee
Articulated this perfectly, liked and subscribed👍
super good video!! thanks for the help!
Do you not get the stats from the shield if you have it equipped?
it only works properly with a Sword hence why the Sword mastery isn't called just sword.. It's called Sword & Shield.
Great video man, I learned a lot
Lol @ the guy afk running in the background to avoid logout.
Random shield makes appearance...what's up shield 😂
So a shield on your back won't help reduce damage if you get shot in the back by an arrow, musket or hatchet?🤔
No. Its stats only affect when its drawn and the only way to draw it is to use straight sword.
However im pretty sure it raises your weight which can be bad if your trying to be lightly armored.
@@stebateus7730 yes, I saw it does increase the weight
So maybe I missed it but how do you even earn fast travel currency?
Im not sure but I think you just get it over time
You get some from main and side missions or you can buy them with real money I think
Best tips sofar👍🏽
Great tips!...specially to upgrade your skinning knive to higher level....(my case, level 13, with my first knive)
