Thanks I’ve been taking advantage of Rockville being dry compared to skyline.. so yea this place is still somewhat new to me, helps following Justin & Parker tho as they know this place best ☝🏼
Soo good! Lots of work for a smaller park but it’s a great training ground 🙌🏻✨ Good chunky trail that makes you work hard to be smoother~ gearing up for the races this year I hope to be able to do on the California Enduro Series! Will be fun to film all my stage races and share it with you all! 🤠🚲💨💨🏆
Yes.. Hahha! -this was still slightly less official.. as taking the left around the tower with the drop is fun too! Let’s ride here soon so you can show me some Bueno lines 👌🏼🌶🕺🏻
Nooo Justin has the KOM.. I was just trying to watch his lines as long as I could before falling back a bit.. anyhow I’m somewhere in the top 5-10 now.. a few more efforts tho and I’ll have it down better 🕺🏻
How is Justin so damn smooth through the rocks! He looks like he just floats through it! Wee you landing flat off that table? That looks like a perfect spot to practice if the trails aren't too busy.
Yea man.. some people don’t have to try and the just got it all.. speed style skills.. that’s him alright! Rockville makes you work hard to get flow and speed that’s for sure! Lots to slow you down and throw you off
Yes it’s “POSSIBLE” but no that’s not the way this trail was made.. the hard part isn’t going straight down, it’s being able to make those two impressively tight switchbacks! That’s real skillz! Going straight right where you mentioned is because someone doesn’t: A.) Have control of the bike and just completely blew through that turn by accident B.) Intentionally CUT the Trail with intentions of cheating Strava because they are so slow in reality they need to find any possible way to make up 3-7 seconds because they lack skill or C.) just completely disrespecting the trail and causing further erosion damage that make it easier for any other trail users to say see.. bikers don’t even ride the trails that were made for them.. which I believe is setting a bad example for us all who just want to go out to ride bikes and have fun! Hope this clears it up because this was a good question 🙋🏻♂️
Lol.. huh? Mine are pretty normal compared to some of my friends that run theirs next to the stem.. hah jk but yea nothing worse then having my levers setup wrong! They have to be at exactly 23degrees on my iPhone level from bar to lever blade 🕺🏻
Look at this gorgeous specimen on a man monologuing to the camera! Oh baby!
Hahah... ohhh boy do I hate holding a camera directly to my own face... 🎥😭
Videos never do justice to how steep and technical a trail is in real life... Making the most technical look simple is impressive ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
@@mtbdon2009 haha ain’t that the truth! Thanks 😎🤘🏼
Great video. Inspires to ride Rockville!
Enjoying some good dirt ..
Mmm taking what we get this winter 🕺🏻✨👌🏼
You're absolutely shredding every trail there. I'm going to miss Rockville. Keep riding hard 🤘🏼

The lines he took were gnarly

@@bike_somm I was talking about Rocky Balboa., To be fair, I named both of those.
Smashing that Zeb through those rocks...👊
Oh yeah.. let the big dog eat! 🐺
so sick!!!!
are there any jumps here? edit: besides that fun table
Hah~ no not unless you make up jumps off the sides of the trails.. there’s just natural features but nothing really intended for jumping
Dude that was that KOM in Cave? Haha awesome riding man. Didn’t know the devils backbone has that jump
Nooo Justin has the KOM.. I was just trying to watch his lines as long as I could before falling back a bit.. anyhow I’m somewhere in the top 5-10 now.. a few more efforts tho and I’ll have it down better 🕺🏻
@@bike_somm oh yeah i forgot about that guy Justin 😂. But yeah thats top 10 for sure haha
Ripping through that chunk like a hot knife thru butter. Look both ways: Hey man, you uh, got any bootleg chain lube?
Hahah yea the Megatower LT likes to eat it’s lunch 😛 with breakfast and dinner all at once!
Can I please have your bike when you buy a new one? You are a freakin shredder man. Keep it up!
Hahah thanks man! Hoping this one lasts me a lifetime 🙌🏼 The Santa Cruz Megatower is one heck of a good bike

@@bike_somm yeah, I’m not sure I’ve gone fast on anything there haha. I’d build some line sighting skills for sure if I ride there more often
What mountain bike are you riding in this video? Santa Cruz Megatower CC???
Santa Cruz Megatower C S Reserve build.. that’s well, now completely custom with Cascade Link & 170 ZEB fork.. so it’s a special Mega 🕺🏻
Is it possible to go straight down on the left at 10:41? I've seen some markings that suggest somebody tried it lol

it freaks me out how far away you set your brake levers from your bars!
