🔥Enjoyed that, thanks. Looks like you recommend png 1150 for learning, was also wondering about whether any of the axis crew are on the png1300. I’ve heard it’s a bit faster, more glide, better for keeping up with the bumps, downside a little harder to get going, less turny maybe🤔.

Sorry can’t comment on that as I have never used the 1300. The reason the 1150 is so good it that it has such a low take off speed. The worst thing you can do on a run is not get up on foil

Nice .also learning on the png 1150 for downwind in open ocean. It's great and so easy! I only have the 460 pump tail though. How do you find that compared to the 450 progressive?

I have not used anything but the progressive recently so not sure. I would imagine just slower and more lift. Could be a good thing

@@oceanpixels9408 yeh I find I get up too easy now on the 1150 in a dw run so would like to sacrifice lift for a bit more top end !

Cool vid! What are the other specs of you Sunova 105L? I’m just starting out and 90kg. I have a the 2019 6’4’’x28’’ 111L. I thinking of upgrading to a more modern shape. I’m running the 1150 PNG with 460 stab 75cm mast. Only been in the swan river with it so far as it is winter. Hanging for summer! Keep the vids and the progression rolling!

It’s 6ft1 by 27 wide and 105l. It works when conditions are perfect

Trying to figure out what volume I need. 150-5 lbs avid surf foiler. Haven’t gotten into it yet but we’ll be doing some dw runs with the ski.

Add 20l roughly to your weight in kg seems to work well for most , with a ski is a great way to learn
