Maybe there are track pads that aren't warmed up, or maybe the brakes just need bleeding, because even a Miata with stock brakes on race tires will lock the front wheels without difficulty.
@@tdgros88 good thoughts for sure! Brian was riding with me and he said they really need to be warmed up to get good pedal feel. Otherwise you just stomp on them. They definitely have the stopping power of you do that!
Now we're talkin'! If it was mine I would follow this advice! Can't really mess with press cars though. ;) I know there are a bunch of aftermarket noise options for the Miata. If I owned one there'd be boxes showing up for sure!
@@WeAreMotorDriven I yanked that nonsense out before the tag came for my 2024. I saw some folks selling mods to amplify and change the pitch. Nonsense....lol

The raspy noise is a sound pipe from the intake to the firewall. Delete it!
