Pleasant overview of day 1. Thank you. My first Queen Elizabeth Cruise to Alaska in September... the 10 day. I travel so much that I was not looking as forward to this trip as I could be. I think I am now! Visions of experiences!
Thanks so much for watching! Yes, first time there and a few people were calling it different things 😂 Next episode I’ll be posting on Sunday will be on Icy Strait Point 😉
Hi!!! What a wonderfull video!! THANKS for sharing!! Can i ,please, ask...did you really felt the difference in anything from service ..food...etc.. in the different class ? We wanted to book a Med. cruise last Sept. and were discuraged by the travel agent...to go on the QE because of the big difference between 1st and 2nd class! We went on Azamara and loved it !! But i am still intersted in QE !! Maybe you can give some advise...THANKS A MILLION!!
Thanks for watching! Yes, I did feel a bit of a “class” difference on Cunard, they had preferential service to anyone else for sure, especially when it came to dining times, etc. They also have their own restaurants which serve elevated menus, but this is relative as if you sail on a contemporary line and sail in a suite category you typically have access to your own restaurant, etc. I think Cunard is a great cruise line for those who enjoy traditional cruising. I hope this helps!
It depends on where you booked your cruise (if you booked through Europe or North America, etc) and what type of cabin you booked. For instance as a Canadian we would be charged either $11.50 or $13.50 USD per person per day depending on cabin category booked. Best thing to do is chat with your travel agent if you have one or Cunard directly for gratuities on your particular booking and sailing.

We are going in 2025 with this ceuise to Alaska but now they change the starting point from Seattle. Did you ever did this trip aswell?
Hi there, I’ve only been on the Queen Elizabeth out of Vancouver, however I’ve sailed to Alaska on other ships out of Seattle.
Taking this soon ! Does anyone know the policy/enforcement on BYOB ? I read that you can bring 1 bottle of wine. Not sure how that works ? Thanks !
Thanks for watching, I did bring two bottles of wine onboard (1 per person) when I initially boarded in Vancouver and had no issues with it.
What month did you cruise? We are going in late June
This cruise was late June, we returned to Vancouver on July 1st, 2022 :)
