      you can see the back attachments in revenge of the Sith during the scene with the venator in dry dock on Coruscant after Yoda says "A prophecy that misread could have been." you can see clone troopers with the little antenna on their backs it hard to see but they are there, and there is the 2005 clone action figure with the antenna on their backs

    the 2017 battlefront team did alright with the character designs, they incorporated the movie skins, and also for whatever reason just made up their own instead of using existing legions. If you watch ROTS there is a TON of unique gear that was never seen again, such as this weird double backpack thing that clones had on utapau. It would have been great for them to have dove into the original character models for the game like the boba fett team did to make the live action armor, because in that preview you can see that all of the add on gear from the film was attached and layered on to the character model to be added and removed at will for variations. It's really a shame that nobody except them has had access to that original model and textures and I really hope that some day a new game will come out thats using the exact model.

    • @EbagStudios
      @EbagStudios  7 месяцев назад +14

      Yeah, it is weird how DICE just kinda did their own thing. I still to this day don’t understand why they just made up their own 41st elite corp armor paint job rather than using the one from Revenge of the Sith. Maybe it’s because they already had a battalion with a grey paint job and not green one yet. Who knows.

    So glad this is gonna get brought up more often now i hope 🤞 the clone back attachments are so cool, they may not serve a real function, but they look good, the only other time we see them in the new canon is with Clone trooper Nemec from the bad batch, granted tho he’s probably a reused Commander Gree model, but its still something, hopefully we see them more often

    Thank you I’ve been saying this for the longest. Seeing the clone troopers without the different variations of customization makes them seem bland especially in the shows. In episode 3 you can see the 41st elite corps on coruscant with different back attachments. The 212th airborne troopers, 501st, 91st recon corps and more. I mean yes you can see the 91st recon corps with the back attachments in battlefront 2 later on but I think so many other legions could have had more customization especially changing the helmets.(barc, airborne, arf phase 2 etc.)

    Fun fact in current canon the turbo tank does show up on Hoth. The tie-in novel to the 2015 Battlefront game, Twilight Company, follows a Rebel infantry division through the GCW and that includes them fighting on Hoth where they repair and steal a damaged juggernaut. I don't think the specific model is named and the book came out before Rogue One, but I would imagine it would be the variant from that film rather than the huge Kashyyk one.

      If they finally gave all the clones the back attachments again, it wouldn’t be for nostalgia. It just keeps things consistent. The phase 2 clones had their back attachments in revenge of the Sith and its tie in media, it’s just a detail that should be kept. Every other tiny little detail from the phase 2 clone was kept, except for the back attachment. So if whoever worked on the clones for new Star Wars projects went that far to keep the design like that of the one in episode 3, they might as well add the back attachments too. Also, I have no clue what the stormtrooper costumes being made in the 1970s had to do with anything lol.

      @@edom.warlord7540 that doesn’t excuse the fact that the artists who’ve worked on current Star Wars projects have omitted a detail of the phase 2 clones that have been there since the very beginning. If they can make sure to use the correct variations of Darth Vader’s helmet depending on the time period, they can add a few boxes and cylinders to the phase 2 clones’ backs. They’ve already done it with Fireball and Nemic in the season 2 of the Bad Batch I don’t know why they couldn’t do it for the rest of the clones.

    Don't recommend adding mods to battlefront lol after that the game gets update and people play with mod online that mess the server..

      Cosmetic mods don’t affect the game’s servers lol. And battlefront hasn’t gotten an update since 2019 so I don’t know why you mentioned that.
