For being a 19 year old at the time of filming this, you were very educated and intelligent about your money and priorities. Me and my mom watched this together and she kept saying how proud of you she was and so am I !!!
definitely be smart with your money. don’t get a second job, just don’t try to live above your means!! don’t get a $1000 rent apartment when yk you can’t afford it.
The rent part is something I’ve always been scared of . It’s the idea of being evicted and not being able to pay it is really what has kept me in the house but seeing this it all makes since second job means extra income, saving each paycheck before the rent is due even if that means missing out on some things will helpful feel like I should know that at almost 21.

I've almost got 10k saved up and I still feel too anxious about if I'll live someplace comfortably. The deposit, furniture, food, Bills, insurance, car payments. I'm starting to think 10k is too little even if rent is 800.

Helpful video! I hate that people have to pay rent or for homes at all. We could all just help each family build a home for each family and be done with it. Imagine how much money we’d have left to pay for your main priorities like kids medical bills and food.
These apartments want you to make 4x the rent which seems impossible, I work ten hour shifts and I still got denied. You have to be getting paid 15 and up to even get approved
Yeah, I don't get it. A lot of people struggle to find a job in their field because the big paying jobs require you to have 5+ experience that you can't possibly get if you're a recent grad. So people are forced to work lower paying jobs just to have a source of income, but a lot of jobs pay minimum wage and give inconsistent hours. Why can't these rental companies understand that?!
@@kindsplash21 Oh no, that might be tough. 🥺 I hear that rent is ridiculously expensive in the US. I live in Canada and rent in Toronto is too expensive.

Yes it can be included in the rent or on its own. I don’t because it’s can fluctuate every month which throws off how much I save for rent every month. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Yeah I need a different job because it makes no sense that at 22 with a bachelors in chemistry, I am working as a pharmacy tech for about 15$ an hour. That’s why I can not afford to move out.
Success hinges on the actions or steps you take to attain it. this was so helpful! i’m 21 moving into my. first apartment & i def need to budget more
Helpful video!
I hate that people have to pay rent or for homes at all. We could all just help each family build a home for each family and be done with it. Imagine how much money we’d have left to pay for your main priorities like kids medical bills and food.
That’s a great idea, 80% of income in rent though
Had to go and ahead and subscribe sis! I’m moving out and all these tips helped!
Thank you so much for watching ❤️❤️ I’m so happy I was able to help🥺

These apartments want you to make 4x the rent which seems impossible, I work ten hour shifts and I still got denied. You have to be getting paid 15 and up to even get approved
I was making 13.25$ an hour at the time !
Jaya Lanae I make around the same and still got denied , idk how they expect you to make damn near 4,000 a month to get accepted
@@b1njjj95 I'm 14 and I'm scared when I get older idk what to do I live in dallas thi
@@kindsplash21 Oh no, that might be tough. 🥺 I hear that rent is ridiculously expensive in the US. I live in Canada and rent in Toronto is too expensive.
Yes, Open Both Bank & Credit UNION
Honestly I’m kinda nervous signing a lease for a townhouse at 18 and going to school it seems to be a lot but over the summer I worked 2 jobs 1 full time job and a part time job and moving to a different city so overwhelmed but I know I can do it 😅

Thank you sooo much for this I’m wanting to move out sometime soon and my rent is about to be up there aswell soo this help a lot 🥰I was wondering tho how would you handle the extra water bill or light bill? does that include the budget for rent?
Yes it can be included in the rent or on its own. I don’t because it’s can fluctuate every month which throws off how much I save for rent every month. Thank you so much for watching ❤️
Or get a nice certified job and get paid enough to work one job! I’m a CNA and get paid 1600$ every two weeks
Yeah I need a different job because it makes no sense that at 22 with a bachelors in chemistry, I am working as a pharmacy tech for about 15$ an hour. That’s why I can not afford to move out.
Where do you live?
Florida
Very smart young lady. Keep it up!
Success hinges on the actions or steps you take to attain it. Building wealth requires cultivating positive habits, such as consistently setting aside money at regular intervals for sound investments. Financial management is a critical subject that many tend to avoid, often leading to regrets down the road. I hope that anyone who reads this will find success in life!
Commencing early is undoubtedly the most effective way to get ahead and accumulate wealth; prioritizing investments is key. I've personally learned from my experiences last year, and I've been able to create a more stable life by starting my investments early this time around.
I've been actively involved in stock investments for over a decade, and I've seen substantial financial growth. My investment portfolio has expanded significantly, and I owe a debt of gratitude to stocks and Jenny Pamogas Canaya* for providing such an incredible avenue for wealth accumulation.
I checked out your advisor, and she certainly appears to be highly qualified. I used to have reservations about advisors, but based on her profile, she exudes confidence. I'm inclined to seek her advice and see what insights she can offer me as well.
My rent is $575 month.
Only have to pay electricity.
That’s great!!
