you should add in a camera movement preset on the still footage so it looks more realistic and professional. Other than that great effect!
nice idea, a little movement to give it a handheld feel might have looked good
While I am a fan of putting in fake handheld camera shake sometimes, I don't agree that it makes a shot look more professional in every instance. This particular scene, every other shot is either locked off or has extremely subtle movement, so adding shake to the transformation shot would not make stylistic sense. Maybe a subtle move would have been nice though.

Brandon Gault for sure, good thing about a lot of these techniques is that they can be easily re-created using Hitfilm! Hitfilm has a lot of the same effects built in
your tutorial is good but put it a little bit longer and explain it more so we can understand it much better
We like to talk through the method and approach without spelling out every step. We will eventually create a beginner course for viewers who don't have a ton of AE experience!

That's some really great effects but I think audio skills need more Improvement
the sound FX or the voices?
The audio from the voices echoes and then it just come to a complete stop when they're done talking there's nothing wrong with the video but I find it strange how they're talking just come to immediate stop
the studio has terrible echo, if we remove too much it causes some strange clipping issues, and it's too large a space to sound proof. We'll look into other post-techniques, thanks!

Hey, guys! Great tutorial, by the way! Just one question. I want to use this kind of effect to show my actor changing clothes. Like, one minute he has one outfit on, and then he Loki transforms into another. Is there anything different that I'd need to do to make that effect look good?
When I use the difference mode it doesn’t make the background black and the actor a different colour instead it messes everything up. My green screen is pink and the background is both grey and blue and my actor is green/blue/pink PLEASE HELP ME!!!
This is something I've been wondering for a while, how much of what you do in After Effects do you think you could do in Blender?

3:35 how did you have the camera...? ... virtual?? virtual camera track the head there? Did you just do camera stabilization on the head rather than the whole frame? Cuz I remember watching a music video where they used the same effect and it looked pretty interesting - it's JJProject's Bounce (its mostly done in their dance scenes, whilst other head-tracking scenes used a SnorriCam)

there is a lot of info to cover and we don't want our tutorials dragging, and these are definitely more advanced overall. Still, if you watch the tutorial through again, you'll probably pick up a lot the 2nd time around
