Hey! Really cool sim. One question though: Is there a reason you mounted the PC on the frame as well? I'd be worried about components like the fan bearings and even the GPU breaking or being damaged from the motion.
And if I remembered to turn off keyboard light and turn on the top light illuminating the wheel and drivers hands it would be even better and more immersive. :)

Ok this is pretty flipping impressive. For someone with little to no exposure to tracks or track driving, even more impressive. The entire setup is so tight. I love it.
but for real, I'am a helikoptertechnichen and got my own legit setup but this is totaly out of leag for any DIY. Kudos for the, in true sens, engeneering skills. How many hours must have he put into this.

I do not have solid numbers (do you have any?), but my guess would be that not more than 1 in 1000 of all the simrigs out there are motionrigs. When you then look for somebody who has built and programed the motionfeature by himself from scratch and also at this level of capacity and quality the number becomes pretty fast pretty small. Can you please tell me a scale to which this rig is average? And what would be top-tier DIY for you? Of course there might be other or better ones but somethig like this is still a unicorn.
@Heiko Scheuermann SimRacing the one who build the most compact, precise, accurate with compatibility in mind for reasonable price (mass addoption) will win the fight in the end, like many other things in our world....... sure, there are many inviduals like him or better but most of those are for personal use, strict and not well balanced (in terms of all those feautures and price). And no, im not defending and saying he is, should or would be the one...... but im not seeing anyone.

you have to try a rig like this in combination with VR glasses ! the ability to look inside a corner makes it so much more like driving in real live. (i dont think i have to mention what impact that has on sim-drifting :D )
He’s done very well. That thing is impressive! You need to take him for a real lap in a real car on the track as repayment for letting you play with his creation 🙂

This looks like an ideal monitor size for a triple setup. I had my mind set on doing 44 to 55” but I think I now prefer the smaller, more close and intimate monitors.
cheaper too. I was thinking the same as you wanting to go with 48 to 55 triples but this looks cozy. Im just playing ps5 gt7 vr2 and wanting to go triple screens for different games in future. Im just using nlr hf8 haptic pad thru small 80 dollar pc for real time haptics using simhub with 2 dayton transducers. One bl2 under seat and 1 puck on pedal plate for immersion. The haptics thru simhub surprised me and add alot of immersion and something is definitely missing when there off. The hf8 pad is the best 200 I spent on my rig. This simracing is addicting and I keep adding to my rig.
That car is one of the most difficult to drive in iRacing, I'd say its the third most difficult in the sim, just after Lotus 49 and Mclaren mp4-30 You did really well getting used to it in such a short time, most people would need weeks of training in that beast.
I think our man Misha just set a new world record for driver excuses in one video! :-) Seriously, though - that "sim" is simply amazing. When I think back to the first iteration of the NASCAR sim we all ran back in 1994 (by Papyrus Company), at that time it was state of the art for realism and graphics. It's not even a decent game for your phone now, though - the difference between then and now is 100-fold, easily. *Great job Tino!*

Im driving also only the same Car in my Sim. Feels nearly identical so far. Im not a Race Driver at all and my MX5 is the first so called Race Car ;) Hopefully the training on my Sim Rig is enough to get the Nordschleife in my Head and i dont crash my beloved Mazda when i visit it in RL. Wow, that was amazing, thanks for this video. For years I was hoping that someone with real nurburgring experience would compare a good racing sim. Your opinion is really valuable! It is very difficult for us pure simracers to tune the sim for a real feeling, because we don't have the experience of the real cars and the track. Simracing has advanced alot, in fact, it may be possible that with lower end equipment a very good experience can be achieved. I found that the transducers are a gamechanger (that is how you felt the texture in the curves), the cool thing is that it can be added for a very low cost. Motion costs more of course and that might not be in everyone budget but the transducers (aka bass shakers) are a no brainer. In my case I used a playseat challenge with a G29 wheel (the foldable one), super comfortable. Big transducer in the rear, and two smaller ones below Steering Wheel, and Pedals. The one below the steering is a must! It improves the feel of the wheel so much. I can share the specs if anyone is interested.
@@T.S.CUSTOM Yes, that is why some call them the poor man's motion rig :) By the way, mind If I ask what settings do you use most for the shakers? Are you using SimHub? Have you tried different frequency parameters? I have found that lowering the frequency for the motor feel is amazing. Using different frequencies also let you feel more effects, without them mixing...
@@fleetc I use combination of effects directly from Iracing internal LFE support for shakers and Simhub for suspension telemetry and road impacts. I found out that combination works best for Iracing. My shakers are quite strong and i can go as low as 20Hz for impacts.
@@T.S.CUSTOM Interesting. I use assetto corsa and usually set them at around 44Hz but have also added white noise at 25Hz for the wheel slip. Also, congratulations on your monitor stand and the monitors as well. It´s really nice.
2:30 Tino is trying to explain the power of the car, eg acceleration the simulation of G-force is what he was meant to say. Pushing your back or whole seat sort of works in a way, great driving simulator Tino nice work.
Damn, this is honestly the first time I see someone make use of the Asus Bezel free kit. Asus released it and none really took notice, and there wasn't much advertising around it.

Yeah, but this you buy once and drive for hours every day, for as long as you like with practically no expenses, compared to real race car. So, you got that going for you! ;)
Never given it thought before but I would assume when using a motion rig it stops sending as much information to the wheel, as it's being provided by the motion I wouldn't expect all inputs to be sent to wheel!.

damm those adjustment switches i did not see before on any sim. Its a great idea . If my kids want to ride we dont have to spend half hour screwing etc to adjust pedals etc. Great build man.

If you get a job at Rimac at a high(ish) level, man, you must really be getting something much better to let it go. It like getting hired by Akrapovič or Pipistrel or sth. Not that many high tech advanced positions in the region.

Mabe there are not many companies on Rimac type level but still, not that hard to find something with his level of skills. Electricaly adjustable seat and pedals... This is truly next lvl simulator. It allready does and costs more than my car. What more can u want?? Wish u many happy miles. The sim is it ac or rf2? Looks insanely realistic.
iam still strugeling to get even a sim rig (Cockpit) to get maybe a better way in use to sim racing like assetto corsa or assetto corsa competition so a motion sim cockpit is to expensiv and with you saying that some are over reacting in severel aspects or corners i might don´t wanna have one so for me time will tell but to your college its in dead a phanomal one of a kind build And thanks Misha for give me the warm Heart XD
@@Max.44 When you know that your'e driving the sim, you're not scared, just excited. On the track the difference between scared and overexcited means you finish the lap, or finish on the barrier. So putting a rookie in the sim, allowing him to rise the self-belief in his skills, then putting him into real car IS NOT something you should do.
Pretty amazing stuff. I would definitely hook a VR headset up to that thing though. 2D screens just won't do it for me anymore. Judging distances on a 2D screen is horrible, and VR headsets are so good right now.
You guy's would love what I built to add to this sim. Have a look Ballistixg-suit it's a high speed air bladder g-suit and work's in the seat or custom suit. It adds extra load and feeling to compression and heave its awesome 👍 Awesome sim guy's we should collaborate with some kit. Ash

I love it. My dream setup for sure. The only thing I found annoying was the windshield whisper in the middle of the windshield. 😂

@@Max.44 When you know that your'e driving the sim, you're not scared, just excited. On the track the difference between scared and overexcited means you finish the lap, or finish on the barrier. So putting a rookie in the sim, allowing him to rise the self-belief in his skills, then putting him into real car IS NOT something you should do.
Pretty amazing stuff. I would definitely hook a VR headset up to that thing though. 2D screens just won't do it for me anymore. Judging distances on a 2D screen is horrible, and VR headsets are so good right now.
man, I love this sim. but to be honest, I mostly prefer round wheels on racing sims rather than gt3/f1 styled wheels.

Have a look Ballistixg-suit it's a high speed air bladder g-suit and work's in the seat or custom suit.
It adds extra load and feeling to compression and heave its awesome 👍
