First one here 😀 woohoo 🙌 God bless you and your family 🙏❤️ love you guys 😇🙏🙏💖 please pray for me and my cat's. I'm in nursing home center for rehab and physical therapy. I was in hospital for a week and now I am here. I want to go home soon as I am able ❤. I pray that it will be soon. Love you guys 😘💖😘
Girl …. You beat all I have ever seen!! You can just pull a meal out of the air! 70 yrs old, starting a new job after Easter and learning a new way to cook!! For that.. THANK-YOU SOOO MUCH!😅😅😊❤❤
I am older and live alone.I remember when my table was full.I really had tears when I saw your beautiful family all eating together. Thanks Brooke, you made my day.❤😂
The one son said "Bussin" 😂 it must be good 👍🏻 Edit: Also, I love your channel. I dont have a momma or daddy to show me how to cook. I can follow a recipe but it is hard for me to put stuff together from things that I already have. 😅 You seem like a nice chill realistic lady and a good momma thats all about budget and taste with meals that taste good and that people like! I definitely am writing things down. Your family seems so nice. ❤ Keep doing what your doing.
I'd show you to cook it whatever. My mom has passed but she taught me everything I have my girl so she's grown. So come hang out or might travel Claremore Oklahoma is where I'm out.
Do you think that you will show us your garden when you are planting? I would 💕 love to see you canning also. I am almost 74 and have never learned to can anything. Your meals that you made ahead looked😊 so delicious and hearty. Thank you so very much for all you do for us...... Much appreciated. Sincerely, Debbie and Dexter-Dog 🐶🐾 my sweet tiny rescued Chihuahua companion living a quiet crafty life in southern California.
i LOVE the new dining set and seeing your family gather at the table for a meal melts my heart! you are so wise to make pantry meals leading into the showstopper holiday meal!🎉
I think I would have made a cream gravy with the deer tenderloin and onions and ladled it over the potatoes. I was pleased with myself in that I didn’t need to buy any groceries for our Thanksgiving meal. We decided to roast a chicken rather than a turkey. I did splurge and bought two frozen pies, Marie Callander’s, for $3.99 each, two weeks ago. Less baking and cleanup for me. Wishing you and your great family a very Happy Thanksgiving, as you continue to teach your boys the joy of helping others. 💋💋. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰
I have to share this here... so my SFM family members can have a laugh along with me!! I didn't have a great weekend and knew yesterday I had to cook something, ANYTHING to feed myself this week. Pulled out my standby "lazy cabbage rolls" which I make in roasting pan that I dump everything into raw and it ends up perfect. It's one those recipes I can do with my eyes closed. 😵 And I did! Because I grabbed what I thought was a can of tomato sauce, opened it up, dumped it in and was looking down at a can of DICED tomatoes. I used some colorful language and thought well I have to make this work. It's still tomatoes. It's just not sauce so I tweaked the extra water a bit and threw in some chili sauce to thicken it up a bit. Stuff like this is why I hate to cook! 🤣
As always great job and your boys absolutely bring joy into the lives of your subscribers. I noticed the oldest one rustle the youngest ones hair and he obviously loves him. Kids today shy away from showing any feelings that are positive for the most part and it just warmed my heart.I may have actually teared up just a little lol. You and your husband are doing a great job raising your sons. God bless and Happy Thanksgiving!
Great video, I bet you could do a whole video on why you should shop your stock pile. I watched a video on Midwest Magic cleaning where he cleaned a hoarder house, it was 2 tiered, the wife was a shopping hoarder, and the husband was a prepper hoarder. Most if the hoard was now expired foods. Where if they would shop each week and rotate the stock there would be very little waste. Oh btw when I say “expired” I mean 10 years past the best by date. Now I eat stuff that’s been as old as 3 years past the Best By date, canned sloppy Joe mix, it was fine, but you could pick up the tin taste. So store your stockpile like Brooke does where you can stack your newest purchases at the back and pull the older things forward.
My mom makes a pork chop casserole, you can also make it with cooked ground pork, turkey or ground beef or whatever you protein you like. In a casserole dish or any oven proof dish, put your cooked meat (we usually cook the meat with diced onions, sometimes defrosted onions and peppers blend), put the cooked protein in the casserole dish add uncooked rinsed white rice ( the amount for the number of servings you want to cook) and the amount of water called for cooking the rice minus 1/4 cup(to account for the juice in the canned tomatoes) add a can of whole, crushed or diced tomatoes, salt and pepper. My mom always adds 2 Bay leaves, and sometimes Italian seasoning. I have added 4 oz of cream cheese before to make it a more creamy casserole. Bake at 375° F until rice is done. You can alter the spices, add rotel and/or green chilies to give it a Mexican vibe, top it with sour creme or guacamole when served. You can add black beans and corn. Whatever you want it to be, use your imagination people, that's what makes cooking fun!
Loved this video! I always enjoy the feel of ‘what’s for dinner’ type videos the most - Not super restricted to a specific budget, but shows the type of quick, easy and cheap meals to pull together on a whim.
Miss Brooke, you and your family are so precious❣️ I still think you need to share your skin care secrets with us, such beautiful skin! And girl, you have such clever cooking ideas! So creative! I was able to pass along your bacon pieces to a young mama looking for a way to get bacon taste in her green beans like her grandmother did! She was like, "You mean I can just use those real bacon bits in the package from the grocery?" Yeppers!!
Sometimes when we cook all day, we do not want what we cooked. I know it makes no sense, but, i do the same thing. Especially on Thanksgiving! Im so tired of the smells..but, you can bet the next day, or later that night, I'm in those left overs. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
I love every video! You have literally changed the way I shop and cook turkey meat 😆 What a true blessing you and your family are to us and your community ❤️
I am thinking about doing a pantry month for January! I think I would like having an easier month, or at least a week or two, after the holiday cooking! Besides milk and fresh veg, I think we'd be good to go!
This is very realistic. I do the same thing. Look around & see what I have to make for dinner & use what I have & substitute for what I don’t have. I also love freezer meals! great time savers!
Your positive attitude is so needed right now. Everything looked delicious! You never fail to amaze me at your pantry and planning. Btw I love a good tomato sandwich too! Blessings ❤️
I’m doing a no spend week this week too. Going to do a full month in Jan if you do it again. Everything looks great. I rewound 3 times to admire those freezers and that downstairs pantry. Your cantry is pretty impressive.
Hey Brooke, when I freeze my corn from the cob, I lay it out on a cookie sheet with parchment paper and freeze it. I mix it around every 30 minutes or so. Then when frozen, I put it in zippies and freeze it. Then I can pour out as much as I want and not have to cook a whole clump. Love your channel!!
How satisfying to see corn from your garden and Brayden’s deer. I like the thinking ahead. Got the last of my Christmas shopping done this morning, so now to enjoy these wonderful days ahead. Blessings to you and your family. Thank you sharing the great shopping tips and meal plans!
Girl - I made your chicken bacon ranch pockets for dinner tonight and it WAS A HIT!!! I was SO EXCITED to make it - although mine seemed much more difficult than you somehow made it look - and I couldn’t get my pockets all the way sealed - likely because I didn’t have a rolling pin to thin out the pizza crust with - so I ended up with only 3 pretty big pockets, and each one ended up leaking out ranch - and I threw away a good bit of the ranch/chicken/bacon mixture - BUT, it’s a learning curve, am I right?!? LOL! It was DEFINITELY a huge hit and my husband LOVED it! He’s gonna buy me a rolling pin for Xmas. LOL! Thank you!!! Much love from GA!! 💜
I love making one pan baked meals. I did fresh broccoli, carrots, white potatoes, sweet potato, onions and whole garlic bulbs sprinkled with olive oil, adobo, pepper and garlic powder. Hubby eats the white potato not sweet.
Hey Brooke! As a new fan and having binged on your videos, I really started to hear you about having a well-stocked pantry, I finally started doing it. As I live on a fixed income and get paid monthly, I budgeted for my pantry starting this month. I already had some stuff that I bought over the last few months, I realized I had a good head start. Today, I got my Adobo and liquid smoke. I’m really feeling good about this. Also, my freezer is stocked with chicken, vegetables, and other red meats. I am saving for a deep freezer and really get stocked up. Thanks so much!!
76K subscribers, congratulations! You deserve, and will get a lot more soon. You have a wonderful way about you, and I personally like to watch the recipes cooked start to finish. It's helped me put some fun, inexpensive meals together lately. Keep doing what you're doing.
Omg little cousin, everything looks and sounds delicious. But when you brought out those pinto bean and cornbread I was hoping you had Chowchow 😊😋. You made me so hungry for beans and cornbread, I bought some Chowchow from Cracker Barrel 😋. Love you all. God bless yous 🙏 ❤️
Great video Brooke and I love tomato sandwiches also but I like yo add lettuce to mine as well🤣! Brooke you might want to save the drained water of the chicken and tuna cans to use in the recipe if your adding any amount if liquid the the meat water adds a lot if labor to your dish , I do it all the time snd it really dies add flavor !! God bless and I pray y’all have a blessed Thanksgiving !! God bless ❤️🙏🙋🏻🌈🌈

Will you please think about doing a reminder to any newbies on building a pantry or storage, please don’t forget water. Not just tiny bottles of water either. ❤ Love this video, great job!
Nothing better than a good tomato sandwich. If you had some of the bacon bits that would be a good substitute bt sandwich. Maybe some onion powder or green onion . Dang now I want one lol
YOU ARE FANTASTIC BROOKE! U give this old lady great easy recipes! 😂 Luv ur beautiful decorated table and the family eating together!!! Luv y'all and happy Thanksgiving ❤❤❤❤
Hi Brooke! I love me a tomato sandwich like nobodys' business! I may just be not seeing it, but I would LOVE to get your chow chow recipe. My grandma made the greatest chow chow but I never learned how before she passed and she left no recipe. I try various store bought but nothing ever compared to hers. Yours kind of looks like hers and I would love to try it. If you could link that recipe, I would be so grateful. I'm 70 years old and would love a good chow chow recipe. Everything you make looks so good. Thanks for sharing your beautiful family and your awesome cooking!
Brooke its made with love! I am learning from you 😂. I made something the other day and i needed well i wanted carrots and I was about to have a heart attack cause i didnt have any. Well I thought about you and i had some peas and carrots in the freezer! So i made do! Turned out great! 😅. PS. Glad you moced those veggies around on that tray LOL
Ham and beans an corn bread sounds great I am 75 this reminds me of my Mom great corn bread some times my mom would put a little sugar in it and warm it up and put maple syrup on it it miss you Mom ❤❤
We absolutely LOVE that sheet pan seasoning. We put everything in a big bowl, sprinkle in the seasoning packet and pour oil over it all. Mix it all together and then put on the sheet pan. Sooo good!!
Brooke, thank you! I love all of your videos, you and your family! Y'all are so sweet and loving! Your food always looks so delicious! For a quick and easy meal for my family, I like to sauté Rice-a-roni's Spanish rice, then add a can of ro-tel tomato and peppers and sauté a few minutes then add water and seasoning packet and cook accordingly to box instructions. When it's done, I add butter and freshly shredded sharp cheddar cheese and let it melt. It's so comforting. Happy Thanksgiving! Love Melissa in the mountains of Virginia. 🙏 ❤
Brooke, I am cooking out of the freezer this week to. I just put pumpkin mouse cups in the oven for Thanksgiving. But tonight is baked ziti. Happy Thanksgiving.
Brooke well everyone trying to say Worcester sauce is hard, so as little kids when helping cook handing items to the cook, my Nany would say, is there any where's your sister sauce. Now it still is where's your sister sauce. The deer looks so good. I love wild meat. Grew up hunting but married a guy that doesn't. Well living in CA what do you expect. All of the food looks great . Hugs blessings and love to all
I don't have a garden but I can buy the uncooked corn on the cob in the store I hope it works out for me cause I love corn 🌽 and yours looks delicious 😋
There's a funny song called the turdy point buck, it's perfect for the hunters in our life this time of the year. You should play it for your boys. You can make soup from corn cobs and the corn makes it thick. Soak your raw cobs, after you cut the corn off it, in cold water overnight. Stir when ever you think of it. Maybe once an hour.for 3 hours Take them out let water settle , pour off the clear water, let settle, do this until most of the clear water is gone let the white stuff dry. Scrape out the dry white stuff bust it up until it's a powder. You just made corn starch. To dry it faster you can freeze dry it.
@@SouthernFrugalMomma good job Breydon. How many points? Time for deer jerky and venison summer sausage, good old venison chili an spaghetti . But my favorite is venison roast in the crockpot with all the veggies.
For another really inspiring video and thanks for sharing so much great information in Tips in your videos you always inspire get in the kitchen and start cooking. Hugs and kisses from grandma, Sandy, and Debbie.

Ryder is always subtly showing Kylen affection. He is the gentle bear always watching over.
As a big sister of two younger siblings, it is so heartwarming to see the boys love each other. To have sibling is the greatest gift of God ❤
Corn Bread with out sugar!!! Thank the lord, I grew up with it made like yours Brooke and most people think it has to be sweet. Thank you
My daddy hated cornbread with sugar and eggs in it. He would say if I wanted it made like that I would just eat cake😂
I love Kylen and his "fainting" when he enjoys his meal.. and his new catch phrase is adorable.
Your family is awesome!!

Have you ever baked cornbread in a waffle iron? It makes it crusty all over and great with soup or beans.
By asking everyone how hungry they are no one can complain if there's not enough! Smart ninja Mom move right there!

Brooke, I am cooking out of the freezer this week to. I just put pumpkin mouse cups in the oven for Thanksgiving. But tonight is baked ziti. Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
Brooke you make such colorful meals!!
All of the food looks great
. Hugs blessings and love to all
Love that you ask them how hungy they are. Such a good idea
I don't have a garden but I can buy the uncooked corn on the cob in the store I hope it works out for me cause I love corn 🌽 and yours looks delicious 😋
I love the "mmmmm" when you said "should I put this whole can of carrots on there?
All those dinners looked delicious!
One of my grocery stores actually covers their potatoes when they are closed to stop them from turning green. Light exposure makes them green faster.
Brook and adorable family!! ❤ 💙💙💙
I love your meals! My mom made similar potatoes but she always added a little flour and they were one of my favorite sides 🤗
Those tomatoes looked fresh, Brooke! Where are you getting fresh tomatoes at this time of year?
Dusty loves that song! I’ve been singing it all day because Breydon got a buck today lol
@@SouthernFrugalMomma ... Well, praise God and CONGRATULATIONS Breydon!! 🦌
@@SouthernFrugalMomma good job Breydon. How many points? Time for deer jerky and venison summer sausage, good old venison chili an spaghetti . But my favorite is venison roast in the crockpot with all the veggies.
