A very inspirational session. Thank you. Re playing variations on lines. I am reminded that in studios I often reap the wroth of 'pop' producers for not playing exactly the same lines over and over, throughout the form; different strokes for different folks eh.
Just discovered your channel a few days ago. Love it. WHAT is that microphone at your F hole? Guessing that's a substantial factor in your great sound. Also what is the piezo set-up?
The microphone in this video is an old Shure Beta 56 dynamic. Hamilton and I made this video in a tight 2 hour window, and that mic was what I had hanging around my office at the time. There is no piezo signal being used in this video, but that bass is equipped with a Fishman Full Circle pickup.
