Everyone’s hair is different, but here’s what I do: 1. Shampoo 2. Condition (leave it in for 3-10 minutes) 3. Once you’re out of the shower, don’t dry your hair with a towel, you want to keep a lot of moisture in it 4. Leave in conditioner 5. Curl cream 6. Gel (For steps 4-6 you’ll have to experiment with the amount of product you use, but brush it through with your fingers and scrunch. You can also use a brush specifically for defining waves/curls) 7. Diffuse (you can get an attachment for your existing hairdryer) 8. Your hair might be crunchy after you dry it from the product, this is normal and called a cast. To get rid of it just use a hair oil Hope this helps!! Good luck
@@ShelbyWright yep! It's amazing how much curl gets taken out when we don't know "proper" care! I never perfected mine but it got much cuter using some tips! ❤️ much luck to you ❤️
@@ShelbyWright I love Herbal Essence conditioner - no parabens/sulfates. I also love anything from Not Your Mothers! I was in the same boat as you, and I’m still working on figuring it all out. ♥️
Use a hair mask once a week curl cream lace in conditioner and if you want to style it use gel and when u go to sleep put your hair in a bun or braid that’s what works for me
I like to use leave in conditioner, curl cream, and if like u can add gel and for the messy part of it just make sure to not sleep on your hair so like put your hair in a bun.
Definitely use conditioner outside of the shower! Thats seems to help me! I also prefer to air dry for at least an hour and then if you need it to be dry, blow dry it and use a rolling brush for your ends! Hope this helps!
Brush when wet. It will dry in the proper position.
