I'm a guitar player who loves synths. I think of Behringer like I think of Squier and Epiphone. Do you need a $6000 Custom Fender or Gibson to make good music? No way 👍 It's awesome that they exist and are so affordable. Good for wealthier people. Quit complaining and go spend all your money on expensive toys.
I concur , i have an original PPG system, this sounds far to soft like they smoothed all the edges , sounds muted compared , lacks the high-end ,different filter , even env slopes seem off
It has classic and modern settings for the wavetable aliasing, crossfade, lfo shapes, etc and added ring mod to the sub osc, so many of the presets will not sound like a ppg, but it can sound authentic
Hmm was the sound recorded through a headphone socket? It sounds weird. Gives an idea of what it can do i guess but hope the sound is better in reality
Best way to demo this is play some Wave 360 sounds, which didn’t have a filter, then segue into filtered sounds which the 2.0 and onward did have. If both sound sets sound familiar, it’s a decent clone.
Much like all other Behringer new products, this too will not be available due to supply chain problems. All their synths have low production, with no warranty parts availability only after 24 months. Thus making them terribly low resell value, and quite literally disposable low quality synths. You absolutely get what you pay for with Behringer !
I wish they would up the quality of the hardware honestly, but it sounds really good for what I'm going for in an upcoming project. I still have some months to finalize my decision, but I think this may be the right tool for the job.

I understand but if Behringer didn't manufacture this the only option for people is a $10,000 to $25,000 on Reverb for a PPG Wave. I get it but I think everyone should be happy these are getting put into the hands of the people.
PPG had same feature the knob spreads the sound..if your in split mode one is left one is right ,it's pretty cool the video doesn't showcase it properly
@djjuno106 to me it sounds unpleasant. It's not spreading in a nice way like with the spread feature in the Dave Smith's for example. It's just sounding decent on one side and terrible on the other. Not enjoyable, I had a hard time finishing the video.
