Andy looks clean and comfy loading that spreader with that enclosed cab loader tractor. We use an open cab backhoe. Needless to say no matter the wind direction you get it all over you and smell great at the end of the day.😂
Good stuff Matt, like you wondering why the ripper isn't showing that much improvement. Will have to give it a few seasons to determine fully. Anyway, keep up the good work.
Where you had to dig out the cotton because it wasn't going into the baler part in the first cotton harvesting video..... Can you load that back into the baler manually or once you dig it out and it hits the ground there is no saving it??
I ran all the wrap colors and I’ll say the blue wrap is the worst! I had several days of just problems with that wrap, that’s the only wrap I’ve seen the most ripped bales from. stay away from it if it’s windy. Be safe!
It’s waste. There’s not enough value in it to spend the 1-2 hrs required to pick it up when I have thousands of pounds left to pick that is potentially losing value every day.
Good afternoon Griggs family, I hope the cotton harvest is going good, man time has flown by this year. Have a safe and blessed weekend. TRUMP WON 🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼🇺🇸🙏🏼 Hey Matt do you have any video of them picking up the rolls of cotton? I would like to see how that’s done. Be safe and have a good weekend. I was just watching Farmhand Mike, and he was showing a cotton harvest video with a cotton stripper, my question is is there any difference between the cotton stripper and the cotton picker? Just curious. Happy Birthday young man I’ve got you by ten years.
Thank you Kelly for explaining how things work.
Nice pink wrap! My mom was a breast cancer survivor for 22 years.

Just like sitting at a campfire, the wind is always blowing the wrong way.
I think tama wrap is a family owned farm in Isreal they worked with John Deere to design the wrap they started with Deere on net wrap for hay bailers

Drought and hurricanes . What my grandfather called the angel's share.
I would have to take some pictures around one of those Orange colored bales with the power T! GBO 🍊🏈🧡
I would laugh if it came out Clemson orange.
@@Mazel_Tov_888 Clemson orange would still be better than Texas orange…
@@griggsfarmsllc Agreed.
We have purple in NC
That longer taproot would help in drought years, but on a normal year won't make much difference.
I hate to say this, Matt, but they need to make a green wrap with a bid yellow O for Oregon, but I live in Oregon. I do root for Tennessee sometimes
Or a roll of wrap that is a different color for every module that comes out like Oregon changes their uniforms weekly…

What happens to the cotton on the ground is that considered waist or do you pick it up.

Trust me were down wind of that crap. We can smell it. 😅
Matt just needs to video a "how to" video on the operation of the cotton picker.

Can you drive through the pile of cotton on the ground and pick it up again?
No

You know that orange is the national color of The Netherland (House of Orange), if you're not Dutch you get enough of orange after a while 😅
Thanks for the education!
@@griggsfarmsllc more to let you know that there is a whole nation of people who like the color orange 😋
