Yeah kid , yeah was good ,fun police everywhere, but get out there find somewhere if in another country so be it ,don't let get to ya ,9 out 10 people see are no more wasn't all fun lot got led astray,we thought bit hole but we run Amuk yeah see can't even have nice hotted up car impound 1200bucks ,we didn't cope that ,
I have many, many interests but this is the best video I have ever seen on you tube. Bloody hell well put together!! Goosebumps when I saw the kingswood and charger come round that corner.
A well put together clip and a great trip down memory lane. Life held so much promise back then despite all the problems that were around. Wonderful memories of growing up with family and friends. I'd go back in an instant if I could and never come back but sadly those days will never return. Thanks mate and keep up the good work!
Ahh the days of a quiet half time at the footy, no blaring music and ads, and the crowd kicking footballs around on the hallowed turf of the MCG after the game. Melbourne has fallen very far but the spirit haunts the alley ways.
When Melbourne had it's freedoms. Like in the movie "Back to the Future" we are living in an alternate Year 2020. Scarey how we are all in lockdown and the loss of our civil liberties.
I remember in 82 I was on the Red Rattler with my boy friend and a rock was thrown threw the window and I ended up with glass all over my lap, it wasn't the same glass they use now that's for sure, I was lucky I didn't get cut up.
No mobile phones, no African gangs. R.I.P Shirl. When you could actually afford a home, because there were no auctions. No masks, no covid 19. NO Dan ANDREWS. When footy was played at 2.10pm on Saturdays. The list goes on and on. I Think we were happier back then. Sure we had problems back then, but we used to talk about them at the dinner table. Now we work 24/7.
@ Robert Lanz Probably better having Dan Andrews than a Liberal bozo like Jeff Kennett as Premier, remember it was Kennett who tried to take the hard won rights off all workers by bringing in work contracts for all workers the same as Little Johnny Howard's Work Choices but 15yrs earlier, but it was Paul Keating who scuttled Kennetts plan of destroying workers rights and conditions by changing everybody that was on a Victorian state award over to a Federal award so they were not Jeffed
Cheers Archie, I started playing around with editing in 1986 with footy highlights to music with a NEC HIFI vcr that was the best on the market. I’ve done a few home movie highlights since then and the odd thing here and there. With technology being so good these days it’s easy to put something decent together. I’ll add a couple of links shortly what I originally did.
@@satos1 a few around Fitzroy but yeah not many. They are mainly in WA, NT. Abbos in considered derogatory (in case you were not aware and used it in their presence).
I’m 14 and wish I lived through these great times. This generation fkn sucks.

The lad at the 2:32 mark, used to hang around with him in the late 70's, early 80's... His name is David, but went off the Sharpies name of Bowie...
Awesome

This Prahran 1986 clip had “Another one bites the dust” though RUclips blocked the song. ruclips.net/video/1z73Mdj16-E/видео.html

At 1:10 that guy singing into the 🎤 looks like Ray Denning.
The streakers name is Helen D’amico. Why do I remember that ? Well, two reasons mainly.

Unfortunately we are beaten
Looked very carefully through this footage and yet I couldn’t find any indigenous people.
Its because these clips are from Melbourne where there are not many indigenous.
Well stop looking then you wont have to worry about it.
Or a fucking smartphone
