I was at this concert with my wife. I knew we were seeing the great "Van Halen" but did not quite appreciate at the time how brilliant they were! Highlights for me were the drum and guitar solo. RIP Eddie what a genius he was
Thanks for putting this up. Great work to capture this with the technology at hand. My brother and I were there that night, after waiting 15 years for them to tour Australia. Gary Cherone worked hard, but it wasn't what I hoped for. Glad we got to see them though. I was heartbroken when I heard Eddie passed. Their music was always uplifting and put you in a great mood. It got me through the crappy teenage years. Rock In Peace Eddie!
This is amazing! I was at that concert and when Cherone runs into the crowd, he stands next to my brother and I and sings a few lines with my brother. For 22 years we've hung it on my brother that he had no proof that this happened, but finally he does! Just after the 57th min of this video, you see my brother and I with Cherone haha. Now I have to listen to him going on about it for another 22 years!! Thanks for posting this.
Paul Battifora mate I think the only reason they did come was because of Gary,he’d been here before with extreme and Nuno was married to one the hottest Aussie rock chicks to walk this sun burnt land,so I think it was him that say “guys we need to do Australia” before Gary they had no interest in coming down.

I was front row on Mikey's side. I saw 6 shows on that tour - it took so long for Van Halen to come to Australia...
