    I have been looking at the three for a couple months now! I am getting closer to going down the same road! Good Luck!

      Best of luck to you as well. I'm seven weeks and three software updates in, and no service issues.

    Thanks for the video. I too got a 2022 Tesla Model 3 Long Range. It’s been pretty good so far. I replace it for my 2020 Kia Niro EV. It drives pretty good and the range is still good so no complaints. Great video.

      So you’re on a very similar upgrade path, the Nero being a direct competitor to the Bolt.
      This is definitely one of the more ‘odd’ videos I’ve posted, thanks for the nice comments.

      @@fastforwardev Your content is very informative especially when you rent. I love it. Look forward to your journey with the Tesla. Mine is pretty clean as well. Just had to replace the Fender Repeater camera. She runs pretty good and it’s now my daily driver as well. Thanks again. Blessings.

    It's funny I guessed where you were going before I actually saw. As a frequent tire kicker, I've look at EV inventory from that dealership in Toledo many times

      I'd never heard of them, just popped up on cars.com.

    Some used 18 inch wheels would increase your range and enhance ride characteristics.

    • @fastforwardev
      @fastforwardev  23 дня назад

      I'm OK with the 'sporty' ride, mostly. I do plan to get a set of winter tires on 18" aero wheels, to hopefully offset some of the cold weather range loss.

    What is the displayed range at 100% SOC?

    • @fastforwardev
      @fastforwardev  25 дней назад

      I did a 70 mph range test, and at 100% it claimed 315 miles. However I believe that is simply the factory-rated range of this configuration, not something based on battery health or driving conditions. It's certainly way higher than the test showed.
      Now, I've only done this once because my goal is to give this battery a long happy life on the farm after it's brutal first two years. I don't plan on letting it charge beyond 80% regularly, and 90% max, and aim to keep minimum around 20%. So I'll be 'losing' a lot of range doing that, but I want this experiment to last as long as possible. A decade would be nice.

      @@fastforwardev The 100% SOC displayed range on a Tesla is the EPA rated range minus the range lost from battery degradation. My 2022 RWD M3 shows 258 miles at last check, down from 272 when new.

    Trashing the place? I just grabbed a 2024 at 0.99% APR for 72 months on sale in existing inventory. strange definition of trashing the place.

    • @fastforwardev
      @fastforwardev  19 дней назад

      Now Ivan, you and I both know that when I said 'trashing the place' I did not mean he took a sledge hammer to the parking lots full of unsold inventory, nor did I mean he bulldozed the factories. This deal you say you grabbed is a symptom of what I was referring to. The implosion of market and partner trust. That's what I meant by trashing the place.
      I got a great deal too, because of this distrust. We both took a gamble.

    Bro I don't have anything nice to say to you. Everything you're saying is really f****** ridiculous. The model is not a civic. I had a 97 civic. It is not a f****** civic. I drive a 1000 miles a week. I am the fastest thing on the road where i'm in my remodel, three damn near

    • @fastforwardev
      @fastforwardev  8 дней назад

      Comrade, I loved my Civics and I love my Model 3, for SOME similar attributes. I did not say the Model 3 is a Civic. That would be, as you say, ridiculous. My Civics never drove themselves 110 miles without driver intervention, for one thing.
      What I said was it's driving dynamics REMINDED me of MY Civics, the COOL ones from the late 80's early 90's, not the boring ones from the late 90's that you must have had some kind of terrible experience in. The point being it's engaging and fun to drive, but not particularly cushy for long trips or bad roads. These are facts. Stop banging your head against them, it may be causing you to hear things that weren't said. And enjoy your remodel.
