Thereason for the papers is so that it help shape it quicker uses less clay the kiln burns the paper so it hollow and it makes it lighter

Joanna. You do very beautiful work. Thanks for the informative videos. I know you indicated that you use a low fire water-based clay. Do you have specifics on containing grog. With, without, percentages, etc.? Thanks.

This video would have been so much better if there was audio.

It is refreshing to watch your proportions of the head.

I seriously think you're amazing! I was wondering if you can advise me one how to create subtle wrinkle, and/or what tools to use for wrinkles. Please keep creating these videos! :)

You can fire a sculpture like that in the kiln, it just has to be brought to temperature very slowly. I'm talking 18 hours or so.

I'm loving this clay but all my best efforts crack - my angels get leprosy and lose their limbs! I've tried drying them slowly in a cold conservatory and on a warmer window ledge - coating in PVA glue and varnishing. I'm using Scolaclay. Any ideas please.

once its cracked, you can fill the cracks with more clay. ive heard it doesnt crack there anymore

Same, this looks prone to blowing to a million pieces.

I dont understand... your just slapping the clay on without worrying about bubbles in your project... arn't you afraid of it explaoding in the kiln?
