It's always enjoyable to watch art supplies that other artists use in their work. I wanted to stay away from buying new supplies in 2023, but was unsuccessful 😅 Then I decided to never restrict myself from getting new supplies even when I have some unused ones. Because it just doesn't work 😅
To prevent the masking tape from sticking to tightly to the paper, I stick it to cotton shirt and that helps. Are your sketchbooks cotton paper, like Arches? If not, could be the difference.
Your colored pencil case, with all the “out of place” pencils is beautiful 🤩 to my eyes! Well used and loved. A brand new case of pencils are beautiful the first time opened and ready to be used and the real beauty begins😍! I find letting the pencils find their own home creates my most used color palette and easier to use. I do look through all the wonderful other colors I have so I don’t miss out on using them. A joyful search.
I’m in Texas and the best painters tape I use is Frog Tape, but yes it’s green. LOL. In my small sketchbooks I like to use washi tape. It is low tack and the white grid is handy as is the narrow width for tiny lines. Have a good day!
De groene Scotch Magic tape! Die is ‘low tack’ en is heel gemakkelijk te verwijderen zonder dat je het papier kapot trekt. En als je merkt dat de tape toch teveel plakt dan kan je er een föhn op zetten. De lijm van de tape laat los door warmte.

Try tesa sensitive painters tape 🥰 it's pastel pink though but it never ever ripped any paper ❤
