Since you guys love to analyze stuff, you might want to check out BTS album sale numbers. In today’s way people listen to music, the way their albums and singles sell is nothing short of amazing. btw… another wonderful reaction from you both. Thank you!🤘
Amazing how this is one of the songs connected to their UN speech. And Director Jungkook did a great job in expressing/ delivering the message of this vid and song. \m/
Fun facts: - When they were gaming, that was in their actual living room (kitchen and dining room right behind them). Same couch as the Grammy nomination announcement. - When they were all in the bedroom, that was Hobi’s and Jimin’s actual room. - The empty concert scene was filmed right after they performed the second (last) day of their October Map of the Soul ON:E virtual concert. The ARMY bombs were there during the concert. They said they pretty much finished, changed clothes, and filmed that scene for this video. BTS hasn't spoken about anything financial for themselves related to the pandemic - only about how much their lives changed and losing what they love to do most - perform in front of ARMY for that in-person feedback and energy, but we know they are concerned about the workers around the world who depend(ed) on tours for their income. As someone else said, they donated dollars towards that. They themselves, however, are likely doing just fine given Bang PD gifted them with HYBE shares (out of his own piece of the company) when it went public last year. Those shares are now worth in the neighborhood of $20M - that amount for each member. 🤘🏻
@@afbf613 welcome 😄 if you want some help getting through some of the yt vids I have playlists to help on my channel. Be careful of the gossip channels BTW, they'll put their own spin usually with false facts on things happening with BTS and Army.
If you want your heart broken a little, the stadium that V looks at while he's driving is the Seoul Olympic Stadium, which is where they did their very last concert pre-pandemic, and where they were supposed to kick off their new tour in april 2020...
BTS and Big Hit Entertainment have donated $1 million to Crew Nation, Live Nation’s charitable effort to live show staff impacted by the coronavirus pandemic, according to Variety. “This is one of the largest artist donations that has been raised for the Crew Nation fund since its conception," an announcement to the publication read.
This song is such a true comfort and they honestly seem to want to find ways to help Army and their fans. I haven’t seen many or enough artists stepping up the same way to give a hand or offer solace. It’s no wonder they are addressing the UN next week for a third time they are just so empathetic to the world and want to spread positive messages. There is something about that moment of V looking at the stadium obviously missing performing and then the black and white imaging a concert to be with us (Army the world) again. JK did such a delicate job directing and putting this together.
This MV was directed and even shot ( significant part of it ) by our Jungkookieeee !!!!!! This has such a wholesome homely feel to it , exactly the comfort needed by a lot of people during those times .
The behind the scenes showed that the guys did, indeed, have the inevitable pillow fight in the dorm bedroom while shooting that scene. 😄💜 They are so funny!
🤟 lockdown also affected managers, security, stylists, make-up artists, etc. Such a huge domino effect. Boys are travelling to USA as diplomatic envoys for Korea. Such a huge honour.
This music video was directed by Jungkook. The whole album was also self-produced by the members. They planned the packaging, photoshoots, concept, and themes for this album themselves.
14:33 V was looking at the stadium that BTS were supposed to held their concert but was cancelled because of the pandemic., Their Stadium US Tour concerts MOTS:7 album tour were all cancelled. You guys are right for a performer it is a huge impact for them performing on stage without audience.
🤘 The scene when Taehyung is driving and looks over at the stadium... 😭 heartbreaking. They miss performing live just as much as we miss seeing them! 💜
Found you guys watching My Universe reactions, and am now backtracking your videos. I absolutely love how you delve deeper into the songs, videos and moments. Your commentary and how you pick up on a lot of the backstories and meanings behind everything is absolutely amazing and so refreshing to see. Thank you.
🤘Personally, I feel like the world has become smaller and more intimate during this pandemic. Like most of us, BTS didn’t know their direction or purpose when it hit, but they found it by serving us so well through their music…and they continue to do so. I’m so thankful to have their inspiration of hope in my life. ✨
Well from the very beginning of this horrible era, Covid -19, BTS have been taking care of our mental and emotional health giving us comfort, that's why if you ask to any ARMY how was 2020 for them they-we will answer that it was not a bad YEAR, because BTS have been with ARMY every single day with something new and great. You should absolutely react to MAMA 2020 where they've performed... LIFE GOES ON.. in an incredible way. You'll love it!!! 💜💜
Really enjoyed your analysis! It was so shocking to see traffic disappear from Dallas streets, not to mention the closing of anywhere a few people could gather. It really changed my perspective on how interconnected everything is. This song portrays a longing and loneliness really well, even tho the guys are together. It gathers such diverse elements of the pandemic survival together, then shows how BTS felt with the empty stadium. Quite a piece of art.
This song has such a wistful feel. I feel very touched when Jin closes his eyes in the last scene in the house. JK did a great job with the direction of this. I don’t know how much time they spend altogether in their shared house now as they have their own homes. I wonder how they feel when they are alone after so many years sharing rooms and living as well as working together.
I read that Life Goes On debuted #1 in Billboard without radio plays because it is in Korean. The massive sales made it #1. A beautiful song and the MV was directed by no other than JK
This is such a great song!!! BTS and the goodness in their hearts!! This is one of the reasons I love them. They are always thinking of ways to better the world. I'm so proud to call myself ARMY...I mean now they have diplomatic passports and they represent their country...how cool is that!!!
people that say "oh they dont need the money" fail to consider that its not just the artist getting paid, they have an entire team of staff that need to be compensated for their work
Can you react to Jimin being petty/sassy af and Suga the guy who spits real fire..it’s a funny video since Jimin is known for being adorable it’s kind of nice to see a different side and I just love savage Suga 😂🤟🏽
Jk was behind the camera in this one. I I I believe that the guys had complete control over this MV. He did an awesome job. Great hand clap towards this. Love the metaphor Ziah! 🤟🤘.
I love this song - i found it so comforting during the pandemic- last year BTS collaborated again with UNICEF and the band did a video speech addressing the pandemic- it was pretty good.
im playing this song everyday since it drop..it just it really give me motivation to go forward...been away from my family for about 2vyears already since my work is ocean apart from my family..since covid, its hard for me/us who travel back hime then back to work again...this just my everyday daily routine to keep me in my phase that i everything happening around, life still goes on..we must live on
They were talking about what they could do during this time when they couldn't tour. They decided to make an album themselves with a very little help. Every member had taken a different role to create and complete this BE album from the scratch.
I love the sincere way you guys discuss your feelings about the video, making connections to your personal lives as well as society. It makes your reactions compelling, and your humour and genuine friendship really shines through. It's wonderful. 🤟 Ps. Not sure if someone already commented this, but when Bang PD (who set up BTS) listed Hybe(bighit) on public exchange, he gave shares in the company to each BTS member so they are now part owners in Hybe (the whole company not just bighit label) and their future is secured. Bang PD didn't need to do this. It is a beautiful demonstration of mutual respect and genuine care between the company and BTS. A rare gesture from a label for sure.💖 Oh also... if you haven't already, I recommend listening to the entire BE album released in late 2020, Life Goes On is the single from that album, but all the songs tell a pandemic story, if you will, with all experiences/feelings investigated. My personal favourite is Dis-Ease. Keep up the great work! Love your channel💜
🤘🏽Appreciate your video review and touching on topic on how artists like BTS is affected by this pandemic. Always looking forward to your video reactions, comments and ‘ Ted Talks’ 😊 love from the Philippines 🇵🇭
This song gives much Hope. Coming to the song you're talking about opening the door and them talking about it comforts you is Magic shop. And please react to The Truth Untold.
🤘 I think you're so on point! And the scare when you're an artist who can't come out and meet fans and do shows - I guess a lot will fear whether they'll still be there after covid, and if everything they've worked for and built up won't be there when they get back ... or even how long will it be before they can do stadium tours (BTS lives for the live concerts, performing and having fun with army right there). Did you ever react to Dis-ease? Such a banger (also from the BE-album).
I really appreciate your BTS reactions. I was just introduced to BTS with their Butter release and fell in love and have enjoyed seeing their talents as a group and individually! 🤘🏽
What I love about this song, as well as a lot of BTS songs in general, is that it is specific enough in our time to relate to the current pandemic, but it is also general enough to relate to similar circumstances in the future. That is why I think BTS' music will be able to be listened to and appreciated by lots of people for years to come, including my own children and their children.
Great reaction guys! This song is one of my favorites from BE album. Such a beautiful message. Ps: If you want to disable the automatic reproduction of videos you just need to click ⏸▶️ next to the captions bar.
hi guys, thanks for what you are doing. This is the first time I meet such responsible and sincere people who really like what they are doing. 99% of the reactors watch the same thing that everyone has and do it to fuck off sometimes without even reading the lyrics of songs.
My favorite BTS song...listen to it everyday. When the pandemic finally hit me hard, I worked every single day and when asked how I was dealing with things I would say great...until I couldn't fake it anymore and this song helped me, it remind me that life will continue, just take it one day at a time...life may suck right now but it willl get better. BTW Jungkook directed the video.🤘
This is about living through Covid..It Debuted #1 on Billboard even though it's largely in Korean💜💜 This song comforted me ...It was before we had the vaccine
If you want to listen to another beautiful song by BTS, I strongly suggest Spring Day, and the explanation video for it. It would touch your hearts. 🤘🏼
I completely agree that y'all should do Spring Day next. It's truly a beautiful song. But you MUST watch an explanation video afterwards or before it. The MV is probably one of their most symbolic videos (minus maybe Blood, Sweat and Tears), but without the background information, you'll miss a lot. There are 2 excellent videos. If you want a more in-depth explanation about the background for the video, watch the Italian Army's one. It's so good that the woman who put it together has been invited to discuss her work on the video. The other more popular English video is almost as good. Either, or, and even both would be good. Spring Day is one of my ultimate favorite BTS songs and is still on the Korean Charts several years after release. I never tire of it. Peace and godspeed. 🤘🤟✌🙏
You also have to consider that BTS and Hybe have many many employees that have families to support. So not being able to tour impacts their livelihood. Luckily, they've been able to have successful streamed concerts, new music and merchandise to continue to support their employees.
I can't imagine how they feel because in some way we can see them, they have a lot of content so we can see how they changed the hair colors for example but they can't, we see them but they don't and that makes so sad
✋🏽(this guy can't control those middle fingers...it's the best he can do for rock and roll) I use this song when I need comfort during these VERY hard times. On your own, there are many live versions, especially during last year's holidays on tv. Thanks again (and love my travel mug)!
🤘 Really enjoyed the Ted talk this time, and showing appreciation for BTS doing a song about covid.. but to me there is several songs on the BE album related or "could be" related to covid. You know how BTS leaves songs open ended so army can fit a song to their own needs usually. But the song "Stay Gold" for example.. to me could be about covid.. staying positive in a time where everything seems so dark, but it I've also heard it be taken other ways as well. But that's why BTS are at the top, they can write one song, and let it have multiple meanings. 💜 I just am proud of them! Thank you guys for the reaction, and the heart felt talk.
I don’t know if you picked up on it but when V looks out the window he’s looking at arena they perform at and all the purple army bombs are lit up to represent Army
Hi guys, i just happened to see your reactions like a few weeks ago. I love your reaction the best because i like how you love to talk about BTS. Thank you guys very much. I saw a reaction about Eat Jin. He help a lot of people with eating disorders. Young girls especially love him. Jin went through a lot that even his members didn't know about. His solo songs are mostly base on his personal life. He was going through therapy when is boss told him to put his thoughts into a song. Guess you guys listen to Awake. His song Epiphany is about him to love himself before any one else and that help thousands of people. He is a great person but don't get me wrong all the members are all amazing and unique in their owwn ways but love and care for each others. ❤🙏
Yeah, pandemics last a while and so does quarantine solutions - fun historical facts: The Black Death claimed about 20 million lives over the course of FOUR YEARS. They had no idea what was causing it, no scientific understanding of contagion (and even if they did, fleas carried by rats snacking on your grain probably wouldn't have been their first guess), but they weren't stupid either: "Forward-thinking officials in Venetian-controlled port city of Ragusa decided to keep newly arrived sailors in isolation until they could prove they weren’t sick. At first, sailors were held on their ships for 30 days, which became known in Venetian law as a "trentino". As time went on, the Venetians increased the forced isolation to 40 days or a "quarantino", the origin of the word quarantine and the start of its practice in the Western world."
I enjoy your reaction, as always. This song help me a lot last year, with all the BTS songs, and contents. But I feel sad for the guys, because they are deprided of what they love the most : concerts with Army in front of them. They did a lot of on line concert for us, and it's great , but they miss Army so much ! I cry when I saw Jimin crying on MOTS :ONE, so heartbreaking. Anyway, we can easily relate to this song, and the entire BE Album. And Director Jungkook made a great and amazing job with this MV ! It's very intersting to see him grow as video editor and film maker through his GCF to this official MV.
Good insights as always. Still hopeful that one day, I'll be able to see BTS live in concert. For now, looking forward to their online concert on 24 Oct. 🤘
Thank you for your reaction. Have you seen « We are bulletproof : the eternal » ? I challenge you to recognize the old BTS’ MV references in this MV !! Love from France. 😁🇫🇷

BTS has a collaboration with Coldplay coming out on 9/24 and by hearing the teaser, we’re gonna have an anthem coming our way.

The whole BE album is about dealing with COVID🤘
Hi ,I'm so fast this time ,life goes on is the spring day of 2020 😅😅 I'm really happy that you got the time to react to it

I work for FedEx so I'm essential, especially delivering goods, vaccines, ect.
Thanks for this reaction and sharing your own stories of when Covid hit. 🤘💜from🇨🇦
And this music vedio is directed by their ONE AND ONLY GOLDEN MAKNAE JUNGKOOK
Nice reaction! I like to hear your thoughts about the pandemic and how you guys lived the lockdown👍🏻 Life goes on is such a comfortable song!!
Yeah, pandemics last a while and so does quarantine solutions - fun historical facts:
The Black Death claimed about 20 million lives over the course of FOUR YEARS.
Still waiting for whalien 52 for you to react..🙏🙏 thank you.. always love your reactions..💜
Live watching you guys.🤟🏾
Life goes on 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
I enjoy your reaction, as always.
I totally want you guys to react to BTS are literally soulmates... Your reactions are wholesome 😌😌
Good insights as always. Still hopeful that one day, I'll be able to see BTS live in concert. For now, looking forward to their online concert on 24 Oct. 🤘
Life Goes On🖤
"People don't buy music",except ARMYs. Cause we know that's the best way to pay them back. Streaming doesn't much for sure.
🤘Great reaction to one of the best song in regard to Covid..
Thank you for your reaction. Have you seen « We are bulletproof : the eternal » ? I challenge you to recognize the old BTS’ MV references in this MV !! Love from France. 😁🇫🇷
