Every time I see a Casty interview I remember why I love the guy so much. He is clearly extremely intelligent and he works his ass off every day to try to be the best player he can be. Booing him is not okay, and I feel really bad for him honestly. He gets more shit than anyone else on our team, when he works his ass off for us, playing 162 games this year and hitting 5 walkoffs. It's really sad
Nick has also worked his butt off to become an outstanding right fielder as well. Fans that truly understand the game and just how difficult it is do not boo...everyone on this team gives full effort...that doesn't mean they will succeed every time....

No one will mention it, but Bryson Stotts leaping catch at the top of the 2nd inning saved a double play that would've had us down 1-0. Incredible defense. ✊🏽😔

Completely agree. His defense has been a gamechanger for us all year. He's not the best at the plate (yet) but he does have a proclivity (like it seems so many guys on this team do) to get a big hit in a big moment. Digging it all the way to 3rd with 1 out proved to be monumental. I think as a whole (i.e. booing Casty early in the game, and booing Trea last year) we, as a fanbase, need to show more love to ALL of our players, and stop booing them even when they suck. Cheering them on all the time, no matter what, is the way to go, as perfectly demonstrated by Trea last year.
I have been a nick fan his whole career. I got frustrated with him when he sworn at those two in the dirt I do not blame the fans Homerun base hit and game winning hit after that I think the fans being harsh on him helped
