- thought I'd add a bit of spice to my usual day in the life at uchicago by trying to speak chinese for a full day!
For context, I grew up in Shanghai but attended international schools, and though I am technically native in Chinese/Mandarin, the last time I spoke Chinese more than English was 2019 summer when I interned in Beijing -- since then I've only ever used Chinese + English = Chinglish
