"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.
The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began - the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

this is one of the best dances they’ve danced. Kalani leads the group so well with her technique, i wish we got to see more numbers like this. abby’s choreo was unbeatable

Although Abby wasn’t always wise with her words when it came to these girls , it definitely hit hard when she referred to the car as “being a luxury which would be taken away at any moment” , then going on to say the same thing to Kalani by referring to kalani as being a luxury herself which could be taken away at any moment . That’s probably the wisest statement I’ve ever hear Abby say . I really feel that Abby truely did care for these girls .

Honestly, I loved how they showed a tender moment between the girls and Abby, mainly because it wasn’t seen much in the later seasons. It showed just how much Abby does care about her girls, outside of the dance company.
From what I've seen, Abby is so much better in the later seasons than in the early seasons. The difference is a bit insane.

That’s just a role that she is playing. Theres security outside the door just in case there are crazy fans but they let in Cathy in no problem. It’s all part of the show. In real life, Cathy is actually friends with Abby!
Gotta give them credit -- this is the prettiest dance I've ever seen Cathy's group do. It's nice to see Vivi can do something besides run on and off the stage.

11:05 this has to be one of the most moving and touching routines that the aldc has done. the piece was so touching, i've never had anyone in my family be in a car crash, but this routine was so beautiful and it sent a message about reckless driving. this is one of my most favorite group dances that the aldc has done, and let me tell you, i've seen every single routine they've done. ❤

This is one of my favorite dances they ever did, particularly during this era! It's honestly so underrated, and it gives me goosebumps every single time.
