I joke with my Son that we ended up in an Adam the Woo video. I told him "See these 2 blurry grey spots here, that's us." I remember where we were sitting in the Land Pavillion when we saw him.
In 2010, I went to disney for the first time. I was 42. My inlaws took us and my 2 kids. We took the monorail to epcot and as we came in, I could see spaceship earth and I had a childhood flashback to some program I had watched as a kid. It was a show talking about epcot and what it would contain etc , as it was still under construction. I remember telling my mother about how amazing it all sounded. She looked at me and said maybe someday you will go there... grown man crying on the monorail, not a pretty sight. I have been many times since and I absolutely love the place.
As a fellow grown man who cried when I saw the castle for the first time at 27yo, I applaud this!! 👏 👏👏 The world would be a better place if men would cry more!!
The best "trick" I know is to take advantage of all the free street performances in many of the countries throughout the World Showcase. The last time we were there we saw belly dancers and a band in Morocco, a British cover band in Great Britain, Drummers in Japan, Mariachi band in Mexico, and a street performer in Italy. There's other stuff out there too. Take advantage of all of it.
Thank you for making this Epcot video. I was 14 when Epcot opened and am a huge fan. I found myself nodding yes at each point you made. I spend 90% of each WDW trip in Epcot and stay on the skyline route. I'm going in early November and will watch this video several more times before my trip.
Just so you know, I’ve stayed in pop century quite a few times during the last few months and I was able to go in the park after they closed with no problem so it’s not just the “expensive hotels“.
Will be there Sept 20-23. Can’t wait to see EPCOT. Our first time in WDW. With my daughters from UK. We choose MK & EPCOT coz we’re all adults. This vacation is my gift to my daughter for her engagement & birthday. Excited to stay at Coronado Springs and have dinner at Toledo Tapas Restaurant. Thanks AJ. I’m a fan of yours. At the international gateway entrance I’ve met Max, Blu, and Gipetto one trip it was a fun and random combo but so fun. It’s the only time I’ve seen especially Max and Blu.
I also met Peter Pan at the hotel one day while waiting for a parent to find her lost kid that found me as an adult who could let them use my phone to call their parents.
I approve of the background music during the virtual cues section. It may have been playing in other sections too. It was so quiet that I'm not sure. I had to pause the video a couple of times to confirm that the music was coming from the video. I was like "do I have Spotify playing somewhere?" Haha.
I was friends with the characters over the summer and our team did training in Epcot maybe that’s why there’s so many rare characters hanging out over there ❤
I adore your videos and love your tips! I am a DL veteran and I will be going to WDW for the holidays. Is there must do updated holiday edition video out there? We are doing the holiday parties in MK and HS. Thanks!
If you have a chance while in EPCOT, exit out the international gateway and go to Beaches and Cream at the Beach/Yacht club! Best Hot Fudge Sundae ANYWHERE
We entered the back entrance planning remi and les halls. However, we got boarding group 6. So excited, rushed all the way to gog. Plans went out the window lol.

You have to get breakfast before you go in for Remy. Yacht or Beach or wherever you are staying. Les Halles is no longer a good option. Morning line is too long, breakfast food is mostly meh and there are never tables to even stand at. Grabbing a to go crepe is a better option after you ride Remy if you must eat. Otherwise hang on until after Frozen and then start your noshing in Norway.
November will be my very first time every going fory birthday 17th Can you post what options are for vegetarians, and gluten free options please it, Do they have milk free options. Milk gives me problems. Do they have after hours in the fall (November)
I can't imagine spending my vacation on a phone app frantically scheduling rides and restaurants such on what is so supposed to be fun, relaxing getaway. The apps. The tiers. It's just way too much. I'd almost rather stay on the job. And seriously on these festivals -- you pay an entry fee. And then on top of that eat $100 worth of food. Or getting up at 6 a.m. six months out to book a Japanese restaurant? This just sounds completely insane. Like what people in a cult do.
It isn’t frantic. You book way ahead of time. Plus you get entry to the festivals with your park ticket. It isn’t a separate entry cost. At least not Food and Wine. Disney was never really relaxing, even in the 90s. It is an active trip, and definitely not for everyone, but that is okay! I am not a relax kind of person, so I prefer the parks, but if you don’t that is okay too!

I love these hour long videos. I put them on when I get on the treadmill and they help me do an hour.
It has Remy, Soarin', Frozen and the best ride in all of DW... Guardians. Plus the best food AND Skyliner access. Easily the best park in DW now.

Garden Grill is the best value in Epcot. Characters, food, A/C and a peek into LWTL. Cannot be beat for groups up to 6 in those lower booths.
We are going the last week of November and I’m so glad we picked that week! We’ll get all the festival stuff AND be in the middle of the week!

Living with the Land and the Pixar Animation show are some of our favorites!! I've been hooked on the Land ride since I was a kid😊
