Your videos are AWESOME!
Thank you!❤
Thank you Professor
Thank you Professor. 😀😀😀
I’m an adult beginner and I really love your channel because you always explain everything very clearly. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. This is very useful. More power to you and your channel! Stay safe.
Brilliant! Go through two-octave for all Major scales, Ab, A, Bb, B, C, Db, D, Eb, E, F, Gb(F#), G, with one PATTERN. I will introduce Bushkova's PATTERN SCALES to my granddaughter. She has already practiced two-octave scale in A Major with this hand PATTERN. Next month will be her 4th birthday. I can't imagine how fast she will go through all those scales. I have to spend lot of time to explain to her why there are so many "b"s and "#"s on the music sheet. Thank you so much Professor Bushkova!
I have been renovating a 1/8th scale violin .The soundpost placement is a very good test of skill with so little room to move .
It's time to put these information on Hrimaly scales no.1-5
Thank you as always.
Thank you so much. ❤️
I really like this concept. I thought you presented it very well. I always look forward to your videos. Thank you.
Truly thank you, you are the best for people like me who started this path alone, thank you!!😁😁😁🎻🎻🎻
I made up a scale that uses only the first finger to practice getting into the correct positions. Sometimes it uses reaching backwards and forwards and then shifting .Coming back down is very useful too. After that it`s hard to play out of tune . I don`t know if that has a name . Lovely that your Russian musical roots are still so highly valued . Sassmanhaus does a one finger scale but that is more a position change practice. My funny one finger scales work the way you move around as you play music .Then there is the Ruggiero Ricci method to Imitate the Crab. Imitando il Grancio . I hope that spelling was right .
After that we should invent a finger substitution scale . I have not heard finger substitutions for a long time.
So Julia. I suspect you find this pattern thing to be intellectually obvious but us newbies think that is just cool beens. Good stuff. Thank you.
Thanks a lot, this is so helpful! And, congratulations for all your videos!
Wow! That just blew my mind! Such a smart memory aid. Thank you for sharing that with us - that was amazing!
I absolutely LOVE this video. I’ll have FUN playing scales because of you. Thank you and God Bless🎻
Showing of fingers is very confusing.its detracting and distracting.
You can also do minor scales (natrual and melodic) with this and believe me this is super useful. I have been teaching my students this at class for years.
Yes, you are absolutely right! Thank you for your valuable comment.
your my favourite teacher on yt, I've improved drastically after your left hand videos, thanks Julia, just started learning in UK at 46! :)
You might be my new favorite channel ❤️
Killer lesson! Very amazing!
I've been playing the guitar for almost 8 years (i am 21 years old now) and i decided to pick up the violin to learn, and i am so excited to put my hands on one, i am watching all your videos so i can have an idea and try to compare the fingering and the techniques with the eletric guitar. Thank you for this video, i am really happy that the violin has patterns that are kinda similar to the guitar hahaha
Thank you for your comment. To your words " the violin has patterns that are kinda similar to the guitar" - Absolutely. The patterns (somewhat adjusted) may be useful for many instruments
@@ViolinClassUSA thank you so much for sharing your knowlegde and skills, your channel is amazing

Sit down and listen and practice
Good morning teacher very very excellent teaching I loved it
I having a problem playing in G major 3 octave scale my fingers can't curved like your styles in edge of finger board when I go higher position how to do correctly?
It depends on your hand size and structure and your fingers' lengths. Some people would look different form others. The main thing is to be able to move the fingers freely.
Thank.you very much
I really like her voice haha
Very Interesting
I think so too! :)
Ecuse me, Prof. What is the main difference between to starting scales with first or second finger, in practice?
Sometimes in the music we play, we have to start a scale with the first finger; other times - with the second... I do not understand your question....
What are some of the benefits of these scales? How does it apply to playing music in general (not just playing scales)? Thank you!
Since most of music is based on scales, you can use these finger configurations to play many songs.
What complete book of violin scales, arpeggios & double stops do you recommend? I ordered Flesch online, and it is a huge disappointment. Odd and non- ergonomic fingerings, I think it's useless. I need a book that shows 4 octave fingerings, as well as clear indications as to where to shift. Also consistent fingering which stays the same ascending & descending. Please help me here, and a huge thank you in advance.
Write to this channel's email with your inquiry, please
If playing major scale on G string why change finger pattern? Thanks 🙏🏻
How do you press on the string ?
GOD LOVES YOU ❤
anywhere I can see a diagram of all the hand positions?
You can Google-search and you will probably find something. However, for learning-to-play purposes, I would not recommend using any diagrams. Since we play by feel and the sound, what I am showing in the video is much more constructive than any visual aid.
@@ViolinClassUSA I took my fingering place holders off yesterday actually. I'm going to take your advice and learn to play more by feel and sound than visually
5:00 b flat major
Wow i cant do that with my fingers when they are in the air...
Can I apply the pattern when I practice arpeggio?
The patterns really work in a passage. You can try to do it in arpeggios, of course, but I do not think you would get the benefits
I am guitar player and that is easy concept just similar with guitar
❤
Is it possible --- praying -- louder so we can hear ....
SHOULD ATTACHED THE FINGERING PATTERNS AT THE VIDEO THERE...
😮😮😮😮😮
i'm in love with you😍😍
How can I see your video and don't like it !!
Thank you so much 💐
Thank you so much.
