ABOUT THE VIDEO
This trailer was edited in 2024 as a throwback to my graduation movie, released in 2016.
The film is an adaptation of an Egyptian folktale.
This folktale belongs to the story type known as "The Basil Maiden", a story characterized by a sassy, clever and confident heroine.

Raymond Aftimos is a Lebanese film school graduate from IESAV-USJ and works as a filmmaker, director, editor, writer, screenwriter and researcher.
Since 2012, and apart from his personal projects, he has been active in both theatre and filmmaking and has contributed, mainly as a freelancer, to several works, under the direction of creators such as Philippe Aractingi, Betty Taoutel, Lina Abyad, Émile Sleilaty, Carmen Labaki, Feyrouz Serhal, Carol Mansour and Muna Khalidi …
He is passionate about entertainment, performing arts and music, but also equally enjoys crafting archive, portrait and historical documentaries.
