But Zeinah fights back.
This leads to a series of reactions and counter-reactions with mutual hate (or is it seduction ?) growing increasingly.

ABOUT THE VIDEO
The year 2016 marked the culmination of my filmmaking journey and my IESAV college years.
For my graduation movie, and just like "The Raisins" two years prior, I aimed to adapt another tale I knew as a kid from my maternal grandmother, Renée Audi (1925-2014).
This time, the folktale chosen belongs to a type of plot known as "The Basil Maiden", a story characterized by a sassy, clever and confident heroine who confronts and teases a rich and powerful king or prince.
Feminism, male entitlement, battle of the sexes, power struggle ...
Songs, vengeance, suspense, twists and turns ...
This movie has it all !

Since 2012, and apart from his personal projects, he has been active in both theatre and filmmaking and has contributed, mainly as a freelancer, to several works, under the direction of creators such as Philippe Aractingi, Betty Taoutel, Lina Abyad, Émile Sleilaty, Carmen Labaki, Feyrouz Serhal, Carol Mansour and Muna Khalidi …
He is passionate about entertainment, performing arts and music, but also equally enjoys crafting archive, portrait and historical documentaries.
