it's a "rom" with translate. there are many in different languages.
Not sure if the original has ever been published in English ever

Hi, I hope you are fine after 7 years from this comment.
I am pretty sure your blood type (maybe along with date of birth) helps with compatibility with your partner.
Your clothes' color indicates compatibility in a way. What this translates into in game is the speed at which the bar moves when you join hands to make a special attack or when one jumps on another. It also impacts how fast your special power level grows.
Colors (from what I remember):
brown - very slow movement, very easy to do the move
blue - slow movement, easy to do the move
white - normal movement, quite easy to do the move
bright green - fast movement, quite hard to do the move
yellow - extremely fast movement, very hard to do the move (I think 1 frame per indicator move)
In this case they seem to be yellow so I'd say the compatibility is the hardest, with the level growing slowly and the hardest moves to make.

It seems it impacts team level at least, not sure if it also impacts the speed of the power indicator..
