Korean age is very confusing for me. How harsh is it that if you're born at the end of December? You could only be a few days old but still considered 2.
Living in Seoul is equivalent to smoking 6 cigarettes a day before you light up yourself. It's a dirty habit with serious health and environmental consequences. Maybe you should consider giving up so you don't get cancer, have a stroke, or suffer with emphysema.
Many languages have formal and informal versions, though in formal English is generally considered antiquated.
Age related hierarchies are becoming an antiquated idea as well. The concept dates back to primitive social structures that related age to social status, and can still be seen in a variety of animals today. It must also be difficult to follow these rules if you do not know the age of those around you. I am regularly assumed to be much younger than I am (often by a decade or more) and may be expected to perform as a subordinate simply due to my appearance.
There are also questions about the psychological affect of perceived status, both your own status and that those around you, on self-worth. I'm sure I could get a PhD thesis out of this topic if I were to come and study in South Korea

I know some of you heard it many times but please listen because we are truly living in the end times and we need to seek Jesus and repent because the time is running out. Our God is merciful and loving and He will accept us if we confess our sins to Him, repent and let Him in our hearts
